I'm with L Cazier. Gale does a TON of R&D for his diff covers. The PPE has horizontal fins inside that will keep the fluid from sweeping up onto the top of the ring gear and forward to the pinion, just like a flat back cover would, if not worse. Love the build. I have a 08 LMM myself. The reason for the gap under the grill is because that's a 1500 grill not a 2500. I made that mistake myself lol.

Just so you know. The bumper isn’t your issue. The grill is made for a 1500 not 2500. Replacing it with the same grill it originally came with will solve your problems.

Banks cover definitely worth money, sight glass, drain plug, fill plug, cooling fins, inside channel to push fluid to the side for axle bearings. Diesel is 4.59 in North pa.

Had the same problem with the chrome on my truck. I sat very Patiently for three nights and literally peeled the chrome off piece by piece using a razor blade. Plastic came out smooth and I repainted it a darker gray to match the rest of the truck.

What chrome areas of your truck did this? My chrome strip on doors are doing this bad, and have attempted to find replacements to no avail, But I’ve thought about attempting to flack or peel it off and maybe paint the plastic underneath? But once you start- ain’t no turning back… so wasn’t sure how it would turn out.

This was on the center chrome piece on my grill. You have to be very careful not to Nick the plastic under the chrome. I wouldn’t try to sand the plastic chrome off, that’s a big problem.

Man those side view mirrors would look great if you mixed and matched the color match panel on top with the chrome panel on the bottom. Best of both worlds and a subtle uniqueness.

Oh, forgot to mention a black zip tie in the eyelet of the shackle pin to the shackle will ensure they dont back off and stop a quick thief.

The LMM is my favorite build of yours. I have a red 2007.5 Silverado 1500. I’m definitely going to keep my eye out for a clean red LMM. Personally I like the gold bow tie, but the red is a nice touch

Really like what you have done with this and all of your trucks. Just not a fan of the white or any running lights on the mirrors. Just me. Very nice upgrades. Looks great. I filled my truck a couple days ago. It was $1.71 a litre. Works out to $6.50 a gallon. I was at 1/4 tank. My wallet was much lighter after.

In PA where I am, it's not much differnet for diesel. According to gas buddy, diesel is anywhere from $4.00 to $5.30. I think im going to invest in a transfer tank for extra fuel

The ppe rear diff covers , are they like new banks . Banks did review on all rear diffs cover and then made there own with the oil actually covering the gear , did ppe do the same thing with the diff cover you put on the lmm.

Do not put use diesel oil on your trailer deck. You understand the term greased lightning every time it gets wet. Go with linseed oil.
