My husband bought a 2016 Toyota Tundra yesterday!! I love it but I think it’s too big for me!! I want to know if it’s the same type of car so I can adjust the pedals too!! I’m so scared to park reverse with this one!

Tundra, among the top most American made trucks and reliable. Mpg might not be the best for it's class, but this truck doesn't see the shop like other trucks.

When I was a kid, my then 5'1 1/2" mother used to borrow the 1971 Ford F-250 Custom pickup to go to work, and people used to see her on the road and shout "Keep on Truckin' Mama" and other shit like that. Plus that truck was rebuilt in order to handle campers in a way that was actually superior to the factory-built camper specials at the time, and this was before GM added dual rear wheels to pickups.

in future if you want to fine tune your parking in the garage without hitting the wall , put a brick or thick piece of wood a few inches behind the wheel as an indicator of when to stop.

I left California too last year too, and moved to Nebraska. My house here was built in 1991, and the garage doors are even lower than the newer homes, so I bought a GMC Canyon Crew Cab 4x4. It fits in with about 4 feet to spare in the length. I didn't want the weather to beat up my new truck too. Happy new year Jenn.

I am 5’0 and I just bought a 2022 Silverado 1500 Z71 crew cab. I live in Ohio and am wondering how I’m going to clean snow or ice off my windshield. Do you have to deal with that where you live, if so how do you deal with that? I was thinking about maybe storing a step stool in my truck

I got to drive the 2019 Ram but only around the parking lot here :( It's a beautiful truck. I like the Toyota Tacoma, it's a good size and off-road capable- I just wish it had some more power under that hood!

@@1ntegress I really like the Tacoma trucks also. I went and looked at a 2019 this past Monday. I really liked the seating in it. The seats were very comfortable. I didn't take it for a test drive. That will come in the future in the next few months. I'm still undecided about getting a full sized truck or midsize. I know that the quality is there with the Tacoma. Have seen a few videos on KZbin about some issues with the 2019 Ram. I also like the Tundras, just need a few more bells and whistles and little more tech as compared to the other full size trucks.

I hear you, Tundra is in need of an update for sure. For me, the biggest issue I have with the full size pickup is the parking situation-- it's a real pain in the arse to park in certain places and that gets old quick :(

I have a crewmax TRD PRO and while it's a very solid truck, it has zero creature comforts that you expect in modern vehicles. Also you are correct that it is extremely difficult to get it in the garage.

Hi! I drove the Tundra short distances around north Texas and it accelerated quite well! I was able to keep up with F150s and Silverados out here, no problemo! Just know of course that when you do step on it, well, be prepared to pay for it at the fuel pump :)

Well in Europe there isn't alot of "need" for big trucks. Not alot of offroading places but besides that, the small vehicles are the bestsellers there because of the sensible navigation in an area that doesn't require long travel.

From one undertall person to another, it's like buying a size 8 shoe, but your wear a 6-6.5, and then making excuses to justify buying the larger shoe; I don't get it. As an undertall person, I don't go looking for the largest vehicle out there; nor the smallest for that matter, but I try to find something that fits me while I'm driving and accomplishes what I need it to. It's nice that you like big trucks, but why not a Tacoma/4Runner or similar? if you were 6'2"+, I would understand... do you haul a lot of stuff - kids, cows, boats, goats, rocks, mulch? do you tow massive trailers? Excess can be cool and all, but too much quickly turns into waste. When driving, you are not supposed to see the side of your vehicle; the mirrors are supposed to show the other vehicle in the other lane IN your blind spot. How often has a vehicle been right next to the side of your truck you while driving? All of it sounds like self-induced problems, and I cannot have any sympathy/pity for your for self-inflicted inconveniences. Cheers.

We are well in the 21st century. I don't understand why it's so hard to believe that a woman can buy her own vehicles and cover her own expenses in life. For instence, I'm just another woman out of the many thousands in the United States with a decent paying job that allows me to afford at least three different vehicles. (As such is life as a grown adult). I've owned 4 trucks, three motorcycles and 2 antique tractors. And paid for every one of them out of my own wallet. These things are solely my responsibility. (Not my boyfriend's).
