Doing the re-watch and this whole segment of the flashbacks of how Fangtasia came from the video store is the best bit of Season 7...if you watch it...total genius and great acting...and brilliant how they snuck a wee bit of garbage into the soundtrack too1.

For me, theres so much to deconstruct from this. Ginger telling pam that sex sells is like telling the ceo of oscar meyer that people like hotdogs. But its an absolute "how did i not think of this first?" Moment for pam, and every word after that is like a poke in the ribs. Its as close to death as ginger ever got, but vain, egotistical pam cant justify it, cuz that would be giving her due credit. So she steals it, but from then on, pam will always know whose idea it really was, and thats gonna take any joy away from it. Years later, and pam is still 'stuck serving people' .... Then the chair. The throne. Sits at the head of the building. Fangtasia is a viking longhouse, complete with king and throne. I cant imagine eric had to be convinced too hard.
