One sad unfortunate detail about this case is that in the mist of Nicki being attacked, she was able to escape from the girls and ran outside to a neighbor’s (I’m assuming this is when you said Nicki hit Jas so hard she got knocked back). Nicki started knocking on the neighbors door for help but before the neighbor could answer the door, Jas and Tas actually followed Nicki outside and somehow coaxed her back into the home by apologizing and saying they loved her, where they continued to attack her 🙁 Spots of Nicki’s blood were later found by the neighbors door.

Funny hearing how the twins felt their Mother was being “hypocritical” not allowing them to do as they pleased the way their Great-Grandmother allowed their Mother to be when she was their age; not even realizing (because they were children) that possibly their Mother wanted the structure and discipline she did NOT receive from her Grandmorher, in turn, making her be the Mother she was towards them. As a kid it’s all kinds of everything having Parents/Guardians that allow you to do what you want. But when you grow to an adult you realize that maybe with more structure and discipline things may have turned out differently for you. Being that you walked in those shoes, you want to provide your own children, with what you didn’t have. Wondering if now, the twins can appreciate what their Mother was TRYING to do for them and the future she wanted for them. She was trying to protect them and keep them from making the same mistakes she did. She crawled so they could walk. And they were too young and naive to even see that. Sad. Now in prison for the rest of their lives they sit and will remain. Crazy the things you take for granted until it comes back full circle.

I remember moving to a different part of my city, I had the same experience you had. They got better, but covid humbled a lot of people. I used turpentine because sage didn't help me much.
