Criminals spend money freely in pubs clubs etc that attracts lots of girls girls attract lots of boys. Lots of different gangs of boys all drinking in the same pub trying to chat up the same girls is a recipe fo trouble. Pubs and clubs needed people like the Krays to keep order even if it was just use of their name

Fun fact; As boys, this man & his brother Chris, during WWII, along with their mother were leaving a cinema after watching the news reels, & were approached by a man who offered mother a cup of tea in a nearby cafe. Some years later Christopher saw a picture of that man in the newspapers after being hanged for murder. The man's name was John Reginald Haliday Christie. FACT

respect Tony he was man of honour did a big thing of getting rid of body then keeping mouth shut then doing 15 year for it not many would do that he deserves respect for that he stayed true to the code of never grassing unlike the other pussy boys in the firm only ian Barrie and Freddie foreman and tony and his brother stood up and took it on chin so all give credit were it due while others round him squelled like pigs he stayed loyal R.IP Tony

Any book the twins wrote had to pass through many diff hands before it was published and many mistakes and lies were put in them Reggie's own words in his last book and Tony was held in very high regard by everyone when he came out and wrote book with Freddie foreman and people like them would not have had any involvement with him if he was a grass so id rather take that as evidence rather than words in a book that passed through many journalists hands who put lies in I meen look at the book our story by Fred dineage absolute rubbish lies again Reggie's words in his last book which he had more control over than previous

In London, gangsters at least had standards then and were no real threat to ordinary people. A pub that a famous individual used would suddenly become busy with 'watchers,' Ask Patsie Smith!

I don't understand why people call these men gangsters. They were never gangsters they were runner's, driver's scives. If these men hadn't gone to prison for the krays no-one would ever have heard of them outside the pub's they drank in. It's mad how some people get built up with lies. Wasted year's and for what. ☘️✌🏻
