Chiiile, let me address this even tho I hate explaining myself because some people are just committed to misunderstanding you, and no matter what you say, they’ll twist it to fit their narrative....but I’m in bed w/this flu, so I got a little time... “She feels bad for Zack, but not Addie” I’ve stated in multiple comments that I empathize with both people in this story. That both were damaged souls that latched on to each other and that ultimately led to their demise. While that doesn’t excuse either of their actions, it does offer room for empathy & understanding. By no means do I feel like what he did was ok, justified, deserved, etc...at all. If I like a comment that simply says “i feel bad for Zack” it’s because, I do....they may not be that far in the story yet; this could be about his earlier life so I’m not going to jump in and elaborate, and it doesn’t mean that I don’t feel bad for Addie as well. Miss me completely with “she doesn’t care because it’s a white girl”...as if I haven’t cried on this channel in front of you over “white girls” That’s such an ugly and disgusting character flaw to put on someone. I’m black, Native, & Greek; obviously the people I come from didn’t raise me in the ignorance that is rac ism....they were out here loving on everybody😩 That’s all...This is for the people who are genuinely supporters of mine, that may have GENUINELY misunderstood me💕 I know that’s the majority, and I love you back. Everyone else can get hammertoe😌

Baby girl what’s understood doesn’t need to be explained. Trust me I understand truly what is to have compassion for people. It’s hard even in the most terrible crimes not to feel a little bit bad that this crime wouldn’t have taken place had the individual not experienced certain situations or had some since of direction to choose a different route. I was too young to remember exact details, so I'll skip them, but I'd rather hear about the bad guy being brought to justice at least. I don't mean to sound aggressive either, but we can't pretend like it doesn't happen and when it does we can't ignore it either. I think it's best just to skip content you don't personally want to watch. Hearing people being brought to justice gives me hope people won't go through not knowing or being able to prove suspicions. Things we don't like shouldn't also inhibit content producers either, because bad things will always happen. If they happen we can at least hope that people won't get away with it.

Yep. Very few soldiers are even given the help and understanding to help them aggust to life back into society. Many have so much PTSD and/or physical disabilities due to war and are just expected to aggust to life afterwards. Many end up homeless, divorced because their PTSD and baggage from battle comes into the marriage, etc. It's really sad, actually. You're expected to endure so much and likely won't receive the empathy and help you need.. people are pretty much expendable in the army, if you don't perform the way they want you to then they have no issue throwing you out.

thank you for your research on this one! I was in college when this happened and the details were a MESS when the story broke. I never knew he had kids and was under the impression that the murder occurred during Katrina and was only discovered once authorities regained access to the area. I do remember him being ex-military and that they chewed him up and spit him out. He was right about them.

Funfact: from approx 13-18yrs old every decision made is made on an emotional basis your emotions are so raw and developing at this time that you are literally living in a vessel of emotions that fluctuate and change at the drop of a hat amd you have no reason as to why other than its what you feel at that time. So embrace ypurself at all times don't try and understand it and remember you are valid ALWAYS X

@@DebbieGonzales823 what a truly horrendous thing to say. That's genuinely the most disgusting thing I've read today....she did not " die hope she lived" she died at the hands of a man who went into a fit of rage, raped her corpse & desecrated her body. NONE of that was her fault

Such a tale of woe!! Perfect example of how you feel about yourself dictates how your life turns out! NOT bragging at all, I've always been told how pretty I am, yet I failed to see it due to how low my self esteem was/ is. IMO my life SUX, even tho I got/ get practically everything I want, there's always been an emptiness. Even when I'm surrounded by a lot of people, I feel alone. I know how he felt. Such a horrible way to go!! He sounded like a nice guy!

This was really sad. He really went through all the terrible things and I'm surprised he was still as loving as he was to the people around him until the murder. I've watched true crime for over a decade and this is the only time where I have truly felt for the killer. Addie as a human being didn't deserve to die, but honestly someone (male or female) without all the issues Zack had probably would have hurt her too in some kinda way for all the awful and manipulative things she was doing. He did it quickly in a moment of passion and it wasn't premeditated... If I was on a judge, I would convict him but then sentence to 5 years in a mental institution (with occasional supervised release) and 10 years of probation after that so he could finally get the help he needed. The US military is also partly responsible for Addie's fate.
