I’d never heard of this case prior to clicking on 1 article about it, and to say I fell down the rabbit hole is an understatement. By now, I’m so sick of these people I’m happier than any of you to see this video is up!😓 What do you think about this mess? Is it REALLY a well coordinated crime, or was law enforcement just BAD?! That HORRIFIED me. His murder was televised. It was proven he had a mentality younger than his chronological age. They sat him in the street, and the bomb squad took their sweet ass time. He was murdered on live TV for everyone (including his family) to see. They weren't even given the decency of a phone call. They left him in the street, as they figured out how to desecrate his murdered corpse... In order to preserve a fucking bomb color. One that could just as easily been cut off after detonation. Part of their job with respect to bombs is to figure out how they were made. They often do this with FRAGMENTS. And you're telling me they couldn't cut it off, and then put it back together??? Just... They took some liberties; but Criminal Minds and Bones both had episodes based on this story. It was horrifying to watch in a TV show. In reality? I don't even have the words... 😔

It wasn’t their fault. In interviews the state police admitted that because they didn’t know for sure the bomb wasn’t real they shut down the whole street. The bomb squad got stuck in the traffic, no cars could move so the bomb squad couldn’t get around. Brit doesn’t show it but if you watch the Netflix documentary on this they explain it pretty well. The bomb squad just got the short end of the straw.

Doesn't matter if they believe it's real or fake, a bomb was strapped to a man and they should have gotten that thing off of him. After 9/11, ya think they would take all bomb threats seriously.

@@chelseapthib36 yeah no I agree w/ you. But it’s wasn’t entirely the bomb squads fault. The officers did admit tho that Bc Brian was so calm they honestly thought it wasn’t real. But you are right after 9/11 which wasn’t even 10 yrs before this, they should have gotten there sooner. Honestly all the police work was a mess in this case, like half the team wanted to do their jobs and the other half couldn’t care less 🤦🏽‍♀️
