Joy. Some find it in a meal. Others, in a melody. It’s at the top of mountains and the bottom of coasters. It’s in the big moments and the not-so-big ones. It’s that elusive feeling we always seem to be searching for-yearning for.
Maybe it’s because joy is the reason we exist. The center of God’s plan. And it’s why He sent his son, Jesus Christ. His sacrifice takes all the pain, the sorrow, the heartache we experience, and replaces them with joy. Joy that lasts more than a moment. Joy that can endure grief. Joy that can lift us even on our darkest days.
So in your never-ending search for joy, don’t forget to search here (scriptures) and here (church) and here (prayer). Because the strongest joy is grounded in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Thank you Jesus for dying for my sins. I’m still trusting in you even though I’m struggling putting groceries in the refrigerator, and paying bills. I lost my job because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition (Lupus) and Heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption from Forsyth Hospital. My husband passed away three years ago, Im all alone. I’m a single mother. Both of my sons are autistic and non verbal. Every month is a struggle, a battle to not end up on the streets. I’m so depressed and embarrassed by my situation. I post my story all over to spread awareness of what mandates are doing, not just to myself but to many other families. I’ve been put down and mocked because of my circumstances it truly hurts me. BUT even after all these things. I STILL HAVE FAITH GOD WILL PROVIDE. He has sent strangers to help me. I’m forever grateful! EVEN as I face homelessness seemly every month with two young children. I have faith our Heavenly Father will provide. Thank you Jesus.

I’ve heard similar stories so many times caused by those in power who would force injections on others. Vaccine mandates are truly an evil thing. My friend is now permanently ill because of being forced to take vaccines and she was normal and healthy before. I even know people who have died from it. Stay strong and may the Lord bless and protect you from this evil in todays world…….

We make life too difficult. We over analyze and try to do all these things all in an attempt to be happy and fulfilled. But Jesus makes it so simple. It’s just about Him. And when we focus on Him, make Him the center, then everything else will fall into place.

I really needed this today. I feel like I am a broken person. Tired, depressed and emotionally sunk. Trying to get back to attending church, trying to pray and all that comes out is nothing but more confusion. This gives me a bit of hope for my failed life.

I'm the same way, I was excommunicated over eleven years ago and it's just been one uphill battle ever since to get back on the covenant path as we were urged to do by our Prophet Russell M. Nelson in a recent General Conference talk. It hasn't been easy not having the priesthood or the blessings of partaking of the Sacrament this past decade, but through repentance I'm hopeful again that I can one day become a member of Christ Church once again.

I've been where you are, honestly. Just know you are not forgotten whether you feel him or not. We can't imagine how much we are loved. Just one right choice at a time. Don't have to do it all at once. One step forward and it will feel so good. Nothing will ever fill the void inside us if we're not seeking our Father. Joy really is found through Jesus Christ. It doesn't always happen immediately but it happens. Please turn to Christ, follow Him, repent as needed and endure to the end.
