Hello everyone! :D This was very fun to do and I've been actually suggested to do this a few times and I wanted to try another Undertale video, this one is based off a fan-game by ‪@ProperDev‬ (truelab.exe), and I hope you all enjoy it! even though it's not at its full form currently.
Is this the special? Not really, that one is still being worked on! But I wanted to start working on another project so I made this :]

This is a pretty good remake of True Lab.EXE, Toriel looks pretty eerie and disfigured, while doing the jumpscare, her almost incomprehensible look adds even more to the horror factor.

Not sure if anyone can remember But WAY back when undertale was everywhere I remember a rom( or maybe mod) that was a horror puzzle thing You did various tasks and “fight” until the end you meet a white ball of light talking It was very surreal and this video brought that memory back

What I love about this is the atmosphere. We don't know what's happened yet everything about the video, from the visuals and droning-static type noises suggest something is seriously wrong...Love how something has happened but we don't know what, It helps keeps the viewer on edge and is something I seriously enjoy Good Work !

Mini fan made history: After dozens of resets made by the player, genocide, neutral or pacifist route does not matter which. Outcomes and events that we already know and remember repeating themselves over and over again, but finally in the forty-five reset during a neutral route the events of the game finally seemed to change, the intro appeared unchanged. However, when starting the game the appearance of it was completely different, this time the vision you had of your surroundings was limited to a small circle around you, if it were not for the fact that at this point you already knew the layout by heart it would cost you a considerable effort to make your way through the ruins, the first notable change besides the new appearance of the game is the music, you tried to find a similarity between this new rhythm and that of the genocide route but this time it seemed even more disturbing. The absence of Flowey does not surprise you, after all the previous route was a neutral one, however what does begin to bother you a little is the complete absence of the interaction with Toriel at the beginning of the ruins and then the apparent disappearance of the rest of monsters that you would usually find there, the save points are still in place fortunately, but they no longer release a line of dialogue when using them, not even the word DETERMINATION or the game data appear, you simply know that you saved thanks to the sound that the point of saving it does when it is used, it seems curious how this sound has not changed in tone unlike the others. You can hear strange noises around you, sound effects which are definitely not in the base game, you would know, you try to investigate by going through entire rooms from corner to corner due to your limited range of vision but you cannot find the source of that sound. Something really disturbing is happening and you're ready to discover something *new.*

I think the actual pacifist route should have had something like this. Obviously not with the horror elements, but having to choose between staying true to your pacifism or putting someone begging for death out of their misery would be a very thought provoking moment. They kinda do it with flowey, but it's all the way at the end and doesn't determine the outcome of your playthrough. Flowey also has a very different relationship to death than the other characters, and is trying to prove some kind of point when he asks for it, so it hits pretty differently from a regular npc asking for the same thing. Would probably be too morbid for what toby was going for though.

Not only that but the amalgamates CAN'T die, no matter what you do because of how mangled they are you can't damage them, even if Frisk DID attack here it wouldn't have worked. Any time you attack an amalgamate it either misses or shows messed up text or a massage saying "error" in the damage font.

This is extremely awesome. The part at 2:09 when the game adheres to horror RPG tropes, and just shows the amalgamation emerging from the darkness felt so immersive, cool, and scary. What I don't like is how it talks to frisk so fluently. It shouldn't. It would be scarier if all it could do was writhe and beg like a monster. Especially because it shows the player can see the pain it's experiencing, and chooses to let it live anyway.

this is... definetly more unsettling than the original true lab fangame. the fact that alphys is somehow still alive, Frisk somehow... actually, i don't even know what happened to Frisk, but also the fact that they refuse to harm Toriel instead of trying to euthanize her. the Sprites are also very well done, and the low resolution also makes it way better in this case. one thing i heard is that truelab.exe was trying to show us that Alphys turned someone else's Toriel into a Monster, and it's a great take, but... it's surprising that it isn't even Alphys' fault this time. what went into her lab? was it Toriel? how can it turn other Monsters into amalgamates itself? knowing nothing about it trully is terrifying
