Hello everyone! :D This one was REALLY fun to do. I've learned a lot of things from making this project, but so far, it's the first chapter, not the entirety of Wii Deleted You and I may continue this if it does well and if you all like it! But I also would like for you to take a look at how things are going so far in this story before I go any further; if you have any feedback, feel free to tell me!

I love Eteled's new design in this, it's so uncanny and weird. I also like how he just genuinely seems sorry that he frightened Kyle, and is just scared of what happens after he dies or gets erased. It's cool seeing this story after such a long time, and it would be cool to see more Wii Deleted You stuff.

The thing I love about Vibingleafs Re-takes (aside from how they never miss) is that they always have a happy ending most of the time. It’s become so cliche as how the protagonist in every classic Creepypasta dying or being traumatized, so it’s very refreshing to see them actually having a good ending rather than just a cheap bad one.

I love the reinvention of Eteled here. He's no longer a ghost here, just an overly anxious Mii who couldn't live with the possibility of being deleted. Edit: In hindsight, he might still be a ghost. Though considering the Electroshock Therapy Austin gave to him in the Sam Story, maybe this retake just brought that moment earlier.

I’m pretty sure that he’s still a ghost in this one because at the end Austin said for a split frame after edeled apologizes, “Why don’t you say that to the one you hurt the most” meaning that him murdering Austin when he was alive still happened and that would suggest that he is a ghost

As someone that hasnt seen the original creepypasta, I dont know if this happens in the original but I really like the fleshing out of the Mii. It doesn't feel like someone that's a blob of scariness and violence, but someone that responded to fear (of deletion/death) with violence. The moral justification of it with him asking how Kyle would feel if the same happened to him, followed by the three years of reflection and eventual apology, really makes them feel like a real person with real morals

I have seen the original series and basically, an employee at nintendo electrocuted himself and his spirit was in the mii, the same one that went to Kyle. After the last message Kyle sold the Wii and it fell into the hands of Sam. Sam and Eteled became freinds and after some antics with Kyle and some other corrupted Mii, the Wii gets overheated and eteled dies.

You got what we were going for here. I gave leaf the idea for the video and what I wanted was for the supernatural entity to be as clueless and out of the loop as the protagonist, not only to make Eteled a more interesting character but also to add more mystery to the story.

I like the progression with our guy, Kyle, as a kid speaking to us At first it’s all joyful and clueless like any kid before it gets serious once Nathan leaves (and presumably a few years later afterwards), adds more to the realism And this felt like it was MORE than the original one, because it stuck with how it started A person stuck in a machine, fearing death inside the digital prison, and will go beyond to make it known

In addition to the retake’s story: I also love how Eteled gets forgiven by Kyle, who seemed to act a bit like a loser that you’d feel some sympathy for and is too bitter and didn’t forgive the tormented soul in the OG source Re-Take Kyle is humane emotion responding and forgiving here VibingLeaf, if you were to do more next, like adding that weird antagonist (I don’t remember his name) that Eteled killed when he was alive, I’d love to see what he actually looks like But I suppose the Re-Takes are just short reimaginings

As someone who've had a lot of nostalgic memories for the Wii, as well as witnessing the original 'Wii Deleted You' creepypasta back in the day, this whole re-take takes all of this up to 100! Even though my thoughts for the original creepypasta of 'Wii Deleted You' might be a bit outdated in current standards, especially with the strange written, but I've had some nostalgic memories for this pasta, and the concept of a sentient entity in fear of deletion/death is indeed interesting. I could've imagine someone, including Kyle, being traumatized of something corrupted their Wii after their dad bought it as a special gift. Overall, this is absolutely really good and amazing at the same time. Can't wait to see what the next chapter will bring for this re-take.

I love how Eleted acts here. Instead of just being some malicious entity, his actions are explained from being scared of getting erased. He has no idea what would happen if he WAS erased and was threatening the player simply because he didn't WANT to know. Then, three years after, he apologized for his actions, and leaves. Reminds me of the og story, where he'd only become violent if you pushed him into it.

Feels like an exploration of death and also how even if you forget about someone, they could still be there, somewhere, living without you there, maybe even missing you, left with the guilt of never being able to say "i'm sorry" when they wronged you, nor goodbye when you or they left. i used to be really into this series back when themaskedchris made the animated series for it. it still kind of holds a special place in my heart alongside the other things i really enjoyed, even if now i barely went back to it or thought of it. but even i’m aware of the quality of the story and i feel like anyone can say that it wasn’t really “scary” or anything of that sort and maybe the story gets a bit weird? i don’t actually remember if i’m being honest, it’s been a while since i watched it lol. but this really adds to what WDY didn’t have before, atleast to me. it adds that “scary” factor that i mentioned it not really having before. i really like how kyle really just seems more like a kid and it’s not just him recalling the memory of the story. even after the 3 years you could kinda just feel him being more mature? and of course eteled is really really well done in my opinion. his design, atleast around his face, doesn’t seem to be fully consistent or fully visible at times. another comment mentioned this but i really like how eteled feels just more human. obviously nothing’s human about a mii glitching the hell out of your wii, but even that factor too. i mean he only really did that out of fear, to send a message. just as eteled said, how would you feel if that happened to you? you’d freak the fuck out, yeah. idk if this really all makes much sense but i really just want to put how much i really like this into words, im not normally a review kinda person lol. anyways keep making great content, id be happy to see more even if it’s not WDY.

As someone who grew up with the Wii, I'd have to say this is a new personal favorite horror short I've seen. The effects and details must've taken a long time to do, and this expansion of a simple creepypasta is just perfect! I love that these videos don’t have any jumpscares, the horror vibe is made out of how the video looks. I also like how the creepypasta character is not just evil and wants the player’s death etc. but its actually scared or sad and then he just apologised.

Holy shit, this was just engaging the whole way through, I love how you portrayed "Eteled", making it's existence an enigma, alongside Kyle's portrayal of a genuine fearful curiosity growing to be not so scared, with "Eteled" and Kyle both not having a full grasp on what is happening, along with the story telling being in the moment, makes them both feel better than in the original whilst keeping to the original in being a horror story without going for shock factor with the Decapitation or the hall of deleted Miis, and I am excited to see if you follow up on this, and if so if it will take a complete new direction keeping it solely on "Eteled" and Kyle, and/or how it will integrate parts of the original's continuations. Either way, just phenomenal work!

2nd comment by me here, I just finished the video and I genuinely believe that Vibing Leaf's Re-Takes on older creepypastas are so much better than the original versions. Another thing I want to mention is the effort that is put in these videos. Vibing Leaf even made a whole 3D animation at 9:22 which is pretty impressive. Not to mention Vibing Leaf's commissions are also very good.

As a person who was a big fan of the WDY series, this video is absolutely stunning and improves a lot from the original story! its been awhile so i'm not sure if eteled (the mii in the video) still had his memories in the original story, but i have to say I like it better that he forgot who he was, making him an even more tragic character. Great video man, keep it up!

I love how the Mii is fleshed out here, first seeming malicious and violent but through the dialogue you can tell it's scared. Then how after reflecting for 3~ years he finally realizes his own fear and apologizes to Kyle for everything. I see the ending as him shutting down the WiiU as a sort of send off but i could be wrong- Either way, this was Absolutely amazing!!!

I remember when the original Wii Deleted You came out, I made a Mii exactly like the one in the story on both the Wii and my 3Ds. Unfortunately we sold that Wii not long after, but I still have and use that 3Ds, and Eteled just vibes with the Miis of me, my friend, and my ocs

the concept of austin not having an actual body unlike eteleD is unironically so fucking terrifying. for example; imagine if austin didn't study 3d modelling, and he couldn't make an actual body due to his lack of experience. or his actual 'body' being destroyed because of the electricity ruining his foundation. or mabye it's neither of those, I really want to see a second chapter where we actually see his body, fully colored. amazing work man

This is pretty good. Usually, videos like this one dont really creep me out. I mostly consume horror for the plot, cause of how the feeling of spookiness has been watered down due to my tolerance. This actually managed to make me get some scary butterflies, mainly the part where the kid talks about his friend leaving them and all, after the vague recording of the screen. Something about how their tone suddenly changed really hit a kill switch in my mind, "reminding" me that this is a real person. (Though, not actually, lmao) Nice video, great work.

This is a very nice retelling/rewrite/video adaptation of Wii Deleted You. You really did well making Eteled creepy without having to turn him evil or anything weird. I also like how you replaced the plot with the hospital where Mii are sent to die with Eteled just avoiding deletion. While I don't think the original story was bad at all (I really like it too), it still slightly drifted away from full-on horror, so it's nice to see another version that goes more on the horror route. I'd really like to see the sequel and how you will retake Sam's story. 😊
