The Landsknecht summoning archers for 3 free ranged assists makes mincemeat of bosses in TZ. Especially with a couple of dedicated magic assist squads makes a massive difference in softening up or cleaning up an enemy line. The fact that they can do for one valor point what normally requires a dedicated squad built for exactly what they do is wild. And you can have 3 out at once. And deploy them anywhere. Just crazy utility and power.

rosalinde and eltolinde are really powerful with elemental roar, especially if hit with a tome buff beforehand. they just blast everything with freeze, burn, stun...gotta love em.

Im still at midgame, Melissandre is amazing on the coliseum since a lot of people rely on dodge tanks. I'm glad to finally see a UO content creator that doesnt belabor their point and artificially lengthening their videos. I like the template you used for the tier list, its more useful than the usual S, A, B, C without categorizing them properly.

Ehhh IDK about the way you're evaluating some of these... it feels like you're penalizing hybrid units and support units overall in this list... or comments like "you can't just throw them into any team"... some of these units like the various elven units are very good at filling critical support roles that unlock team comps while having more survivability and adding a little damage vs. using a pure support unit. The bestral units add incredible mobility to your team as leaders and some of the night skills are busted like werefox getting infinite free evade at night, which assuming you aren't playing a no items challenge run is extremely cheap and easy to achieve for all combats for the rest of the game after you get them.

In terms of critical roles, that is why I have the good at certain jobs category. I don't think units are bad and every unit has something can bring to your team, which is why I had the tier list set up like this. Elven units, like the archers are great if you want them for a support role, but that makes them niche imo. Or the Elven Fencers for example, I have them in all around good, but I wouldn't put them higher because it requires you to utilize them for certain roles if you want them to excel. But that is why I like videos like this. Seeing how other people use units opens up more ideas for others for team building.

There’s a rock paper scissors element here, and a balanced group can take care of a lot of things. However there are certain cheese setups you can make that would loose to most things but defeat your balanced setup. It seems the most important in pvp initiative is everything, and if you are able to eliminate 1-2 people from the other side right off the bat, it’s a huge advantage.

I do like how the bestrals are basically better versions of other classes. It makes for an easy way to make comps a bit more complex and effective.

Sergeants are the best of both worlds tbh, Offense/Utility like column strikes, it can also put guaranteed crits on units, and also has some healing too

Etolinde doesn't just heal it makes a row immune to debuffs, she belongs in SS along with her sister as they both nuke the board as well. Gilbert I think hes also SS but yes hes very strictly support, he just supports so well with offensive order and sniper order. Now Werewolf, did we use the same unit because they just win more and any other damage dealer replaces them and does the job better. Their entire kit is doing damage when youre already going to win, they are by far the worst unit in the game. The Foxes should drop a tier as well, they are just less utility Rogues and while weakness pursuit is pretty good its a 2 pp passive that still likely won't net kills other than that they dont really have much else just better rogues at night time. Elven Archers also should go up a tier or two, Mystic conferral is an active so it can be comboed with other things and pure field comes in super clutch sometimes. As for Druid yeah you're just wrong there, they literally make any squad they are in better, you'd be hard pressed to find many people who would put them as anything below SS.

It's so fascinating how different everyone's perspective and experience is. I think the bestrals are all OP. They are just awkward to use because if you just swap them out for one unit you usually find yourself missing some key element. Foxes + Berengaria is pretty disgusting. Elven Archers are amazing. For me, they replace the soldier as a swiss army knife, providing utility to adapt to many situations.

The foxes' Weakness Hunter is a bit of a trap. Their Shadow Pursuit is the real pursuit skill you should be using. Blindness is such a potent debuff in evade comps, It's spending a PP to negate 1+ AP or PP and deal some damage. Combine that with Passive Hold and you can neuter quite a few classes. They are nasty in conjunction with Rogues that can Sneaking Edge a backline and PP steal from some frontliners. They can be an absolute bane to any comps that rely on passive skills.

​@@papersage69 blind 1 guy is pretty bad, if I wanted to blind id be using Rogue for row blind or a Sandstorm Shaman or the Featherbow. Literally using them to blind is not what they are good for, Weakness Hunter actually does damage, it is expensive for 2 pp though.

I've seen a few videos puting Swordmasters very low. I don't get it. I'm not in Albion yet. but if it's not armored, they destroy everything before they had a chance to act. With two swords, I put one Phys. Atk, the other Mag. Atk.

My best squad was alain scarlet virginia eltolinde and amalia (alain scarlet have good aoe eltolinde and amalia have my good single target and good aoe aswell and virginia is there as an extra tank that deals incredibly well against tanks and flying units)

@@Blood_Ronin it's crazy how one item can Change a game. Recently I started pairing elven archer with sorcessor flame tome. Not sure if you played orge battle 64 but the sorcessors on there used to combine items into one big move set during fights if they were intune. The double frost from the archer now burns with the flame tome...game changer.

In my opinion, Crusader, Sorceress, Feather sword, Sniper and Warlock should be down. Prince should be 2 rank up, Feather shield should be 1 rank up.

Shaman is its own tier above everything else. The sheer amount of disruption and mitigation is completely unparalleled 0- It certainly absolutely beggars classes like Crusader/Valkyria.

1 debuff immunity ring or shield and they are useless. They are good, don't get me wrong but are countered so hard. Debuff Immunity classes also make them a non issue.

@@Blood_RoninI'm sorry, but the fact that you have to use significant resources to counter them is part of why are so strong, and if you don't bother, then Quick Curse alone will significantly decrease your damage. Also from a player side, enemy comps rarely build in debuff immunity through items, so who cares? If you really think Valkyria is better than even a single generic Shaman your evaluation criteria is very uhh nteresting

@@Songofwyrd honestly, it sounds like you are just a little salty I don't agree with you. I stand by what I said with druids. They are way to easy to counter by gear and multiple classes in game. And I do think timer takes into account on True Zen for most people. If you haven't played on expert and try true zen, time is a big difference. Look at it this way, if your team is strong enough without a druid, why add one when you can easily add extra damage and clear faster.

Once he gets to vanguard, he can be useful for backline cover, but that's about it.

I don't vibe with the lex hatred meme, but Vanguard is armored which is a huge liability vs. elven fencer will also provide range cover and you can put them on any line because they're fairly evasive.@@Blood_Ronin
