Will watch on replay, Thanks for sharing. So much research over the decades show the positive impact on communities, individuals when there is someone from their community, speak their language and understand protocols, engage with community. It shows supportive environment, recidivism is lower. Deaths in Custody, Bringing them Home, United Nations,Close the Gap,Australian Law Reform commission, plethora and yet it still continues. To all, Community's,Mob,Good people serving and keeping us safe, happy new year ✌️🫶🌏

Respect to Veronica, the insight is appreciated and while my heart hurts for our Indigenous community, I have to disagree when it comes to the example of driving offences. Maybe it was a QLD thing or it’s because he’s a sports star but Ezra Mam very recently got off extremely lightly 🤷🏽‍♀️

What a really interesting informative interview as an English I didn't think there was any aboriginal police officers other than Jay Swann from Mystery Road & associated dramas , the 2 actors that play him are fantastic actors Aaron Petersen & Mark Coles Smith. So very very sad what happened to Veronica & she didn't report it that is horrendous what happened & she didn't report it for ridicule & that the Police wouldn't do anything about it.
