Ladies, never tell an abusive man you plan to leave him! Just keep quiet, act like everything's fine, and prepare... When he's out of the house, grab as much as you can, and GO!!!

Off the bat, the mom says that he was VERY protective of his wife, wanted her to look nice, “didn’t mind” buying her new dresses ALL the time. He also bought them a house with his money and possibly made her quit her job. It seems she thought he was being a good husband, but these are signs of a controlling partner!! The level of control over her life is clear here and having her quit a job is an isolation tactic. Ladies, when they start being overly obsessive, it’s not cute, it’s a red flag! Do not tell them you’re leaving get to a safe place!

This was my ex boyfriend…it’s so sad. He has no empathy though. Idk what’s worse my own parents choose him over me and don’t believe me or my ex continuing to call me after I said it was over about a month ago. Now I’m trying to live my best life single. I would always tell him to, “I don’t trust you, you’re going to kill me if I stay with you.” Or “you’re going to hit me if I stay with you” very toxic person. I was even diagnosed with a mental illness which I believe I no longer have through Jesus Christ…and because I left him I’m just back to who I was when I was younger

Maureen Lippincott No, they wouldn’t of. Even if the mother called the same day, she would just be a missing person and they wouldn’t run any sort of forensics until they found a body or if they had enough probable cause to think she is dead, or that something happened in the home. Police don’t come in with a full forensics team the moment someone is reported missing.

Even if there's nothing they can do because its too early, report them missing as soon as you think they are. That way not only do the police have a start date, they would be on em the second they start lifting carpets or something.. I think any man that wants to enter a family's life, especially if there are daughters. Boys make me less worried cus some sick fuks groom young girls, the amount of times I've heard the step daughter ran off with step-dad. Growing up it happened with a neighbor an cus the woman was bit older than him she should of known, getting a 14 year old girl in bath with step-dad no way man.. He said he's in love with her daughter an she plunged a kitchen knife in his chest 😁

If only they would've reported her missing sooner. Two months is insane! A week at MOST, but not 2 months. Especially if the best friends knew that Jerry was so controlling and possessive. I also think he could've caught the attention of police sooner if one of his neighbors called the police on him for burning his furniture. Idk, it may be different from state to state, but open burning is illegal in a lot of places.

I have a friend who not only kept quiet her plan to leave but stashed cash in a secret account and even organized her home In such a way that when the moving van showed up on the morning she was leaving, she was able to quickly get everything out that she needed for her four young daughters who knew nothing about the plan. The guy she left was the step-dad of the daughters, not their biological dad. The step-dad was emotionally abusive to all of them, but physically abusive to my friend, but only when her daughters went to see their dad for the weekend. She pulled off the move years ago and is now in a relationship with a really nice guy and is enjoying her grandchildren and has a great relationship with all of her daughters and their father, (her ex-husband) but not the abusive step-dad. She is happy, but it took a long time of saving and planning to be able to leave. Stay strong ladies. Don't give up!

Denise G well for your safety you should at least have one or two people that have your family’s contact information who have a time frame of when to contact your family should they not hear from you. For me, that’s my sister. We don’t talk constantly but every couple days if we don’t talk we ask each other a question only we would know the answer to. If I get one, I know she’s checking up. If she doesn’t get a reply that day she knows something is wrong and vice versa. If something happened to you would you really want it in your mind that your family won’t be looking for you for at least a month?

If you are in an abusive relationship- document everything, tell a friend where you are keeping your documentation, make a plan, pack a 'gtfo' bag - keep it small with just important papers, stuff that won't be missed right away, buy a burner phone if your abuser tracks your calls and has access to your bill, start stashing cash early- even a dollar at a time can add up, and when you leave- you have got to leave and not look back. ♥ Love is not a good enough reason to stay.

I had to get a five year restraining order on my ex 4 years ago and then I had to go to court in another city for a warrant that I put on him.It took two years total but I am glad I did it by myself with no support but the help of three good judges and police.I was scared but I didn’t give up.I put up alarm and got a pistol for my car with mace and a big pistol for my house.My daughter just laughed at me and said I deserve it.My family in Va especially my mom didn’t care.It hurt but I was scared going to court but I showed him that I will have him locked up.I been by myself for three years and I love it.I will not and try not to ever get in a situation like that again.It is the most terrifying thing knowing someone is trying to kill you.Be carefully looks and even a guy that give you everything can be very dangerous when you let him go

@firefeethok_tui2355
@firefeethok_tui2355 Жыл бұрын
It could be that the mother was the private person and she didn’t want to be bothered with her daughters problems. Maybe she wanted her daughter just to make it all better so that everything could look so nice, you know like buying her those cute dresses and putting a roof over her head and having her quit her job. I think the mother probably glamorize those things, The daughter waited after finding out what kind of creep this was? There’s so many problems with the story. I don’t think the mother is the innocent that we think she is, she may be heartbroken but the daughter may have stayed in that situation because of the mother stressing to her how great she had it, you know being a stay at home mom with a roof over her head. There’s something wrong with the story other than just the fact that those two were murdered by that degenerate. does it sound like grandma was too close to her grandson, not speaking to her grandson for two months? So awful.
