Why do cops always think that asking for an attorney during questioning is suspicious? Do you know how many people have been falsely convicted by saying something they shouldn't have during questioning? Especially if you are unfamiliar with dealing with cops. Asking for an attorney isn't suspicious, it's smart.

It actually did work to one murderer's advantage when he spilled the beans to the cops. James Music's 1982 murderer in AK was caught with enough evidence to convict and earn him a long sentence, but he is now out much sooner on a technicality b/c he asked for a lawyer and then immediately proceeded to say...well, I might as well tell you everything now, I guess...telling all w/o being stopped by the officer which was determined to violate his rights even though he is the one who freely volunteered the information.

You never do anything besides identify yourself and residence. The end. No talking. No confessing. No breathalyzer. Nothing. If it's DUI your going to lose your license anyway. They have to take you to the hospital to get blood alcohol levels, gives you some time to get your level down a bit. Don't drink and drive though. That's seriously stupid. Anything alcohol related? Don't blow for them.

They did too much. You should've just blocked him, changed your phone number and never spoke to him again. That whole getting your boyfriend to listen in on a phone call that shouldn't even be happening and should be private was too much. If you're done with someone, then you're done. They try to contact you, ignore them. Telling him that your boyfriend is listening in on you telling your ex you're never getting back together with him and you don't love him anymore is embarrassing. And this guy is clearly unstable and unhinged and your just making it worse. Sad that it happened and this should never happen, but this could've been handled differently and possibly could've been avoided. No one deserves to lose their life like that and his ass can rot in hell for it.

I don't ever think it's odd if someone asks do i need an attorney or i'd like an attorney. Cops can take shit out of contexts and you may say something that suddenly implicates you and you didn't evenb know you said something wrong. No matter what situation i was in if i was being questioned by cops i wouldn't say anything with out an attorney present

It does/should not look suspicious to ask for an attorney. It’s dumb to speak to the cops without one.

This is crazy. I’ve seen cases where people were committing a robbery and during the robbery, a person dies. Because of their part in the crime, everyone was charged. In a particular case, one of the robbers dies killed by the victim they were trying to steal from, and all of his accomplices were charged for his murder. Cannot believe the cousin in this case was charged and arrested. 🤦🏻♀️

How in the world can someone be an accessory to murder and not be charged? They were present at the scene.

why did they focus on the boyfriend asking for a lawyer? that's everyone's right, don't demonize keeping yourself safe from the police.

Unacceptable that the 16 y.o. nephew who was involved in his uncle's murder walked away with NO CHARGES!!!!

I feel so sorry for Landy, no ex partner should ever get the chance to kill their ex. Break up then MOVE ON. DONT KILL! Just a guy trying to be happy being himself. I do wish they did stories on horrible people instead of always the good ones.
@shalicokelly9513 жыл бұрын
They NEVER do stories on those types of people!! Just once, wouldn't it be nice to have a neighbor say "he was a liar and a jerk" or a co-worker say that they were an a**hole! 😂 No, it's usually some bright, beautiful, beloved person that gets murdered. It's so messed up!
