Yes, absolutely. I was in an abusive relationship. He was a drunk, verbally, emotionally, and physically abusive. I thought I couldn't do better since I was disabled with a young son. It's a part of life we never talk about. Thankfully, he was sometimes at his father's house half the time. But still he heard and watched. When I heard him starting verbally on my son is when I knew I had to get out. What's also sad. Is that men find these younger women and leave their wives and children. For what they think is the greener side. It changes them. His wife says he was never like that with her. You can't compare the 2. Video doesn't lie that he was abusive to Rebekkah right in front of her son. As a mother, his ex and daughter should not be condoning his behavior for any reason. Absolutely no excuse. If you're a real man, you brush off moat comments. It's funny how there's NO video of her hitting him. Just proves to you that he was the abuser

It sucks but the daughter and ex wife really should wrap their heads around the fact that Donald, whether due to alcohol, drugs, the stripper wife, whatever the reason, he turned into a p.o.s. and was no longer the husband and dad they knew. He wanted his young stripper wife and he got her, so be it. He created his own fate as a forty-something year old man. Rebekah was wrong but so was Donald. It all sucks. To pretend that he played no part in his own death is just straight up denial and it's ignorant.

@@FaithMichelle420 I dunno if you've ever been physically abused by someone, I hope you haven't. Either way, if you had, you'd know that every hit, kick, punch, slap, dog-cussing you take, it kills a little bit of the love you have for someone. The love is replaced with fear, hatred, loss of hope, defeat, frustration, resentment ...sometimes, not sayin it's right...but sometimes the negative overflows and there's no love left. Sometimes people snap. Even if the person isn't hurting you in that moment, some people just are fed up and know prison can't be any worse. So No Ma'am or Sir, Abuse is never an excuse for murder. However, abuse is absofuckinglutely a Reason.

Some times especially the mother wants to hide what a son does and is. I seen it for years my own mom did it with my brother. He never did anything wrong when he did everything from abusing his wife getting drunk high and fighting my mom paying for his fine. So don't ever say your son or daughter was not involved

They say that because he was not like that with them, he became a different person due to the drinking drugs and life style and like their friend said she would antagonize him nag to death and start stuff However it doesn't mean he should hit her, she should have left/divorced him period if she was so miserable etc.......

I think they were both crazy. The alcohol and drugs had probably gotten the best of both of them. Seems like he was actually a decent, responsible guy prior to his divorce. The girlfriend may have been the same before she got into stripping.
@BILL_BO_jangles

He probably wasn't. Does no one recognize that when he hits her she's in his face or storming off. Surely she wasn't saying sweet things. Alcohol affects your decision making ability, they drink way too much. Their friend says she instigated it, so she probably verbally provoked him women always know how to attack your insecurities. Being drunk feeling like his manhood was challenged he hits her in retaliation. Which is completely wrong on his part, but she knew what she was doing. Which was wrong on her part. We often say that physical abuse is more wrong than emotional abuse. But I would argue they are equally wrong. At end of the day she shoots him in the head without reason, he was just sitting on the couch trying to call his daughter, she was completely wasted went into the other room to get a gun and shoots the guy. She's a murderer and not like women who are really abused and doesn't deserve the same respect.

😢 so sad for this family, I know our Lord hurts too, to see his children walking in so much hate, vengeance masked as justice. I pray he heals this family and DJ. He hates the sin, but wants to rescue the sinner. He sees the intent. His heart is so full of love, even to those that were ordered to killed him 😢 he said, "father forgive them, they know not what they're doing". Every time I hear his words of such love, I cry 😢 He loves us all, even while we are sinners. Maybe she find our Lord , so he can heal her and not some religion to follow after. That 911 call was slurred the first I heard it today. I was like whats this lady messed up on. Our Lord is full of justice and wants us to show his way of justice and to help the broken and pray for each other. Its good the appointed Judge showed justice and mercy and give her hope and time to change before our loving God and Lord that shows fairness non-bias to all mankind, his children. Showing Justice and Mercy for All 💙🩷🩷💜💙💙💙💛🩷🩷💙 🙏🏼Praying for victims; ones that are subjected to oppression, hardship, abuse or mistreatment, unjust hate, unjust judging. Heavenly Father, We are praying for the broken, you said show Justice, love kindness. Help the hurting. Your grace and wisdom extend to all who will turn to You. I pray now on behalf of families who need that power in their lives. Father, please intercede in these broken families. Repair the broken ties before more insult and pain can take root. Give these families the power to forgive, as You forgive. Teach them to grow together in patience and empathy. Bless the children of broken families so that they may be loved and nourished. Show them that they matter and that they are loved. Please bless everyone in a broken family that they will remember You love them perfectly. With Your perfect love, all pain can be washed away. Father, please help all broken families become whole. Help them forge new ties that are stronger. Help their bonds become reinforced through Jesus Christ. I offer this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.

He was a normal and good husband to his first wife when he was younger, and a good father to his kids, good to his family, but turned to alcohol near the end of his marriage. It seems obvious, he was starting to have a mid life crisis, he starts working out, he lost weight, drinking a lot more, partying like he's a young man in his 20's with no responsibilities, no family, doing drugs, all with his new much younger stripper wife. This just SCREAMS mid life crisis! Being drunk and high every day along with his young wife, he became very physically and verbally abusive to his young wife, he was out of control! And his young wife just as out of control as he was! Disaster was inevitable.

However, numerous videos depict him violently assaulting her. What baffles me is the absence of videos showing her doing the same to him. The police were called to their residence 21 times, and both were arrested in turn; clearly, she was not an innocent bystander in this relationship. It's heartbreaking for his family that they had to listen to him being shot while he was on the phone with his daughter, with Rebekah pulling the trigger. Her excuses are ultimately inconsequential.

I have seen good or decent guys (not great, but not bad either) go from normal behavior to violent and/or aggressive behavior over the course of years. Some things just break people. Drugs, divorce, death of a loved one, being “left behind” by people who just outgrow them, and other things. There is nothing more infuriating than family members gaslighting abuse victims by telling them that their family member was "nothing like that" In these cases two things can be true about a person - he may never have abused YOU but he may have been abusive to someone else's mother or daughter or sister. Sit with that. Let it sink in. The man you know abused a woman and that woman was not you or anyone in your family... but he is an abuser ... it is possible.

His first wife and his first family say he never got angry, and never lifted a finger to his wife, kids, nothing and all of a sudden he becomes this terror, Doesn’t make sense. And Rebecca has her son witnessed this lifestyle for how many years, she’s where she belongs. Happy the comments passed the vibe check y’all. I thought I was losing it for how I felt. He didn’t just hit her, he smacked her out of existence at times. He wasn’t this man that they used to know. I was abused by someone, no one believed me because in front of everyone else - he was the person everyone wanted to be around. He has a wife now, I don’t know if he hurts her. At the time I was in college and we were together for 4 years partying, and living our life. Partying changes people. Maybe him having a wife and children now and not being in college partying has changed him. But regardless, the first time he hit me was on my 21st birthday in a NYC bar. He got kicked out, and I chased him down trying to get him to take me to the hotel, getting a smack every time I approached him. I was young and stupid. But a person put me in a taxi and said “it’s time to go, leave him behind - I work for a domestic violence line.” I don’t know if she really did, but I’m glad she did that. I even went to an nyc cop in a park - flirting with girls - he did absolutely nothing for me but this stranger did. This was 6 months into our relationship. The day I left him he hit me on both sides of my head at the same time. I weighed roughly 115 pounds. He weighed 190 at least. I fell to the ground. I pretended to go to work that morning and called my Dad. Told him everything. I never went back. Moral of the story, I still see him here and there. He lives his life like he’s never abused me for 4 years. And I’m sure his friends and family think he never touched me aggressively. Just because someone doesn’t abuse you, doesn’t mean they don’t have the ability to do it to someone else.

I might be hearing one side of the story but I'm seeing another side. I'm a victim of domestic violence and was married to a dark triad covert malignant narcissist with psychopathic and sociopathic traits for 21 years before I got free. I'm a survivor and not all of us survive. Saying that your brother is not an abuser because he never touched you or raised his voice at you, that's not how it works. Most abusers abuse behind closed doors and they don't abuse everyone. Usually it's just the wife. Friends and family are the last people to know. Just because he's your brother that doesn't mean you know him. Look at how he reacts with your own eyes, this is something you can't deny. The daughter has no right saying memory loss is a lot of crap she's never been in a domestic violence situation she has no idea what happens to your brain or your body. The nephew from the second story was finally arrested and charged last year and he only got 11 years. How in the hell?
@Jamie__1
@Jamie__1 11 ай бұрын
Yes i looked that story up, apparently he was charged with a reduced charge of voluntary manslaughter because he said his uncle punched him in the face after an argument, he then retaliated and his uncle died from hitting his head after he fell then he disposed of his body in a trash bin. Even if what he said was true that he died unintentionally from the consequence of a fight the fact that he then cruelly disposed of the body the way he did should have resulted in a more severe sentence. I'm not sure i believe his story anyway.

@@Jamie__1 That and also the evidence against him was super circumstantial. They were never going to convict him on anything more, so getting that confession and charging him with a lesser crime. 11 years is the maximum sentence for voluntary manslaughter. It's worth noting that voluntary manslaughter charges are rarely filed in CA and usually only as a backup to cases where there's simply little/no evidence to actually convict someone. Specifically, the charge entails defending oneself with excessive force that results in the death of another. Since there was no evidence to go off of, there was nothing to prove that Daniels' confession was anything but the truth (and that's how courts work - the burden of proof is on the prosecution). Truth is, Daniel would have likely gotten away with it had he not confessed as they've never found the body. The 11 years is basically a backup plan to still get him behind bars to some degree, despite the fact that they have a very poor case against Daniel (though he did finally admit to committing the crime.)

@@TwoWheeledBooBear Yes i understood voluntary manslaughter was all they could prove but what about him admitting to disposing of the body, isnt that a serious crime in and of itself. From what i understand they also never found the body, he claims he dumped it in the trash but usually trash can only lead to one place, ultimately they would have found the body if that was true, perhaps one day the real location of the body will be recovered and that will reveal the truth of how he died, i wonder if in that case it is proven the crime was more serious than what he was charged with can anything further happen with the courts or can he not be tried twice for same crime

The whole story was sus AF there was absolutely no motive. The uncle was a home body. I’ve met quite reclusive homebodies you diddle kids. I think the nephew was his victim and he finally took action. He didn’t say that’s what happened because it’s not a good argument. But it’s a perfect argument to me every one say handle child predators but when the children grow up and handle it, it’s always the were a bad egg they were on drugs. Yeah?? How do you think they got there??🤔🤔🤔

way to just fall in line..... its really easy to build a narrative around video clips with no volume. sure its not right he hit her, but its in her best interest right now to turn everyone of them clips into him just being a monster and coming after her. for all we know for that pool clip he coulda been playing with the animal and she came out to give him some shit so he went to throw her in the pool playfully like they both coulda been laughing while it was happening. i mean look at all the videos on the internet where someone in thrown into a pool if u take away the volume and u knowing thtat its playful, it looks just like a horrible assault.

The ONLY part I believe is about how the night he died he was probably messing with her saying he was going to put a "hit" on her. He even grabbed his phone and called his daughter and left a message. He did NOT say "hey it's dad", so she probably thought it was someone he was calling to kill her. 🤯🤷‍♀️
