I enjoy watching you enjoy our food. Thanks for taking our advice. We will never steer you wrong. There is so much more to enjoy. I might be biased cause I'm filipino but my non filipino friends also agree that our food is one of the most variety of cuisine that is top notch. The mung beans is like thick soup so we dont eat that with rice. To each his own. So if you ever try anything without rice and you find it too rich, that means its meant to be eaten with rice.

KZbin certified META: feature anything Filipino related and all penoy fried legion will come out from their holes. PS: Only works for foreign youtubers...
@rdu2393 жыл бұрын
@Healthy Living Not hating, just stating an objective fact, filipino topics featured by a foreigner will always attract Filipinos in abroad and in the Philippines, compared if a fellow local Filipino will review the same thing, they will not get that much traction UNLESS they will go on the bizarre and dumb pinoy META genres and Filipino social media drama.
@JoJodyssey3 жыл бұрын
@@rdu239 For me, it’s all about seeing the reaction of people not from my country when they eat Filipino food. Plus, foreign KZbinrs put more exposure to my home country, which I am happy about. You are right though, whenever it’s Filipino food related content, it seems like the viewers are much higher. Maybe they share the same sentiment as me. Nothing wrong with that. 😊

It’s not required to have rice but it’s recommended. It’s like eating a big Mac without eating the bun. Or eating a tuna fish sandwich without eating the bread. I hope you understand what I’m trying to say. Rice is life!!!
@cereus66473 жыл бұрын
It’s more like we’re used to eating them with it because in some cases, that one dish we cooked for lunch will feed us for the whole day. And if we are feeding a lot in a family, we need rice as fillers so that we don’t demolish it in one sitting.

I just started watching your videos about filipino food and it truly makes me happy to see the way you enjoy our food. It brings me happiness to see that you are so open and loving towards trying all our cuisine. Even though you try all the weird stuff you're honest and embrace all the good things we can share with people outside of our nationality. Keep doing what your doing because I'm sure every filipino can agree that you bring joy with the content you create. One suggestion is to try a Boodle Fight (kamayan). You will definitely enjoy it but will need lots of people to eat with you for that one! Enjoy!!!

In the Philippines, papaitan is made from beef innards and served piping hot. If its cold the grease will floating on the broth. Also serves as partner for drinking beer or other liquor especially chicharong bulaklak. Ginisang munggo is Friday favorite food. Especially if its partnered with fried foods such as meat and fish. Nice review Chef Curtis. More power.
