This weekend sucked with no footy. It is going to be a long summer. We need MORE content please. I know you will be great on draft content. Hope you have plans for more once that is over. I personally think Geelong are a tough matchup for Port. Port get a lot of play by breaking tackles and running out the front of packs. Butters and JHF almost always look to beat the first tackler. Geelong are a mature team who are not in the business of missing tackles. Obviously Port have more ways to hurt teams but I think this will be the closest of all this weeks finals. I would still probably tip Port (my tipping contest is over) but without any great confidence. Rain predicted, is another factor, I don't know who that favours statistically, but I feel like it helps Geelong.

PA beat Geelong at Geelong this year so PA would have to be favourites at home. GWS vs Sydney is tough to call. Brisbane should win easy. Bulldogs, are playing at their best but wouldnt surprise me if Hawthorn win.

@@tubester4567 Yeah, any win against Geelong at Kardinia Park is a great performance. Especially kicking such a high score against them. However I think recent results this year count for less than in previous years. That win was in the first half of year, both teams have changed playing style and individual positioning a bit since. I agree that Port would have to start as favourites. I am not overly confident with any of the tips really. Brisbane should be the easiest but they might just kick 6 goals and 22 behinds, goal accuracy has been an issue all year. The Dogs are in their best form for the year but so are the Hawks. I think GWS will beat Sydney but I have changed my mind on that a couple of times over the last week too. If I had to tip now, I would have Port, Hawks, GWS, Carlton.

For years I have hated Hawthorn's thuggery and was happy to see them struggle. Now they play a style of footy that wins grand finals: fast, risky, swarming, chaotic and relentless. No champagne footy here. They could be dark horse winners.

Personally feel like it's the more safer tip for the cats over the power. The knowledge, execution and sheer conditioning of the Cats will just wear them out IMO. sure tagging Stewart makes sense. What's the plan for Jezza? Reckon he'll have a big game. Bulldogs I think will win against the Hawks. They're taller and more proven with the depth and flexibility of their list. With Day out still it's going to be a tough ask against Trealor and Bont. Darcy to have a big game himself. I could definitely see the Giants winning out against the Swans. Flip of a coin really, but I'll go with the Giants. Better fir the rebound and up forward for my liking. The midfield battle will be epic The lions will win no questions asked. Blues had to make finals off the back of another teams loss. Their stars can shine but unless the rest of the team lift for the better, I'm not sold. Lions to do what they do best and that's win with red hit finals form

Hawkes will capitulate under finals conditions. They will not have the time and space afforded to them in the home and away season. The closest finals pressure they experienced was against Port when they were 41 points up and Port turned up the pressure and they lost and capitulated. Sydney is still not convincing. The dead rubber against a disinterested Adelaide side is nothing to hang your hat on. Other than that your analysis is of a high standard.

I think Hawks will be hungrier and determined to beat the dogs . Sydney will regain papley McInerney and possibly Adams who haven't played in ages. If Sydney get a home prelim against cats or dogs you would certainly back the swans to win

55% are tipping Hawks to win. The MCG will be a big advantage to Hawthorn compared to the dogs. Dogs winning against GWS meant nothing as GWS tanked that game on purpose. Chuck in Daniels Bedford and another and GWS beat dogs by 5+ goals.
