3:58 Azrael is fully a cannibal by the way, in his chrono phantasma arcade mode when he confronts jin, jin mentions hearing his name a lot on the Battlefield “Mad dog, death bringer, cannibal.” A lot of his ingame quotes are about ripping off your flesh and gnawing on the bone. When he fight ragna he also talks about consuming his flesh. He legitimately eats people he’s not just one of those anime villains talking about feeding on your spirit energy or some thing he eats people.

Just one oversight missed (very minor, manga mention!), whilst Azrael wasn't beaten it does say he was repelled by Mai Natsume's father, Houichirou Hazuki. Who is himself a master martial artist and fights barehanded, so I just think about what insane strength he must have!

I mean, Azrael admitted defeat. But realistically speaking it's less cause he lost and more because Kagura jumped him and then teleported him back into cryostasis. Once Azrael realized where he was going he had no choice but to admit defeat. Nobody could actually beat him otherwise

Some of the issues spawn from a lack of explenation and side content being locked to Japan. Ive read that Celica's reveal in BB:CP was receved well while in the west people werent fond of her. Many believe this was due to a manga covering the six heroes and blood edge being kept in Japan.

Something to note about Azrael's strength, it's never outright stated or even really hinted at anywhere, but I think that given what Xblaze reveals about how Drives work in the greater BB universe, it seems like a safe assumption that Azrael's power comes from his Drive.
