Trufire Smoke Release

Been shooting mine as my primary release aid for a couple years now. Took a little use to feel broke in. Quality-wise it's holding up really well.

Shoot the trufire edge, I'm happy with it. Shot 4 or 5 of the top rated releases and the edge seemed nicest for me (in that price range, not the super expensive ones).

I use a Scott shark but I would like to try the truefire chicken wing.

I shoot this release. I found that I needed to wear it in, originally there was a slightly rough spot in the action which it used to almost release and then not.... being a rifle shooter I found this really off putting for a while. Squeeze the trigger squeeze the trigger, click then nothing... squeeze a little more and off it would go. The more I used it the better it’s getting. In the mean time I bought a Tru Ball HBC, actually the one Steve demo’d on here that one of his customers had cut down.... haven’t tried it yet as worried about punching myself out.

I got one of those when i started shooting and brand new the damn thing chewed througj my d loop so over time they suck

Bob Tom This release specifically? My old Scott release chewed loops. I switched to the Spot Hog Wiseguy. Love that thing.

Lucky I cant see where the arrows land till I get to the target. sun was direct in my face, but yes happy with the group. I'll try more wrists.
