What tends to happen is that people who don't seem to know the channel comment on how impractical the end results are. They're missing the point that engineering is a dying art and so is experimentation. If only they knew how much of modern civilisation is built on someone being curious and stumbling on happy accidents!

Funny idea and nice realization, must have taken a lot of work to make all these slipper holder plates. Gotta mention some safety violations, though: 2:36 - should not wear gloves while operating a drill press, should clamp the part, especially when it's non-deburred (so, sharp-edged) sheet metal. Should at least have held it with some locking pliers. I gotta ask, how does it ride off-road, on some single track? Or downhill? :)
