All Anglo countries do have a pretty similar culture, at least compared to all the non Anglo countries, but they still have pretty different political beliefs. Take universal healthcare. All the rest of them agree that it’s necessary for the government to provide its people with this. But not USA. Then take USA’s gun laws. The UK, Australia, and New Zealand all voluntarily gave up their gun rights after mass shootings. But USA has these happen on a weekly basis and they adamantly refuse to give up this right. So I think that they should be close partners but not join together. Or at least the others could but they were already part of the British Empire, later the commonwealth, and they chose to be more independent without a war.
