I had to cry laughing at opening video. I moved to a small rural town in Colorado 40 years ago and faced the same problem with “sheep jams” on the local roads and highways. It took a while before I learned how to wade through them. (Never tried the “reverse mode”) It’s more of an automatic car buffing thing. To this day I’d rather spend two hours in a sheep jam than 30 minutes in car traffic.
