The problem is that the agencies are writing their own regulations/laws. This should be reserved for congress, but it isnt necessarily happening now. The agencies fall under the executive branch, so it is the president that can stop and fix the ever expanding government.
@pfeilspitze
@pfeilspitze 2 ай бұрын
7:17 You're concerned about the power-grab of the executive branch, you say? Then you must be in favour of repealing Chevron, right, since it's about not deferring to the executive and instead making Congress write laws that clearly say what they want, so the President can't change them? Oh wait, no, you were just talking about how horrible that decision was last week 🙄

If you seriously don’t understand the distinction between those two, but I don’t really know what to tell you. In today’s world where are you right along that says insider trading is not allowed, and you give different examples. In today’s world there will be new Waze that they get around those rules that the agencies are able to react to immediately that stop insider trading instead of having to go through the Long process of having Congress do it. And would it be better for Congress to do it, yeah probably. But there was never any idea that the country would get this big and we would progress to such a amount. The founding fathers would never even contemplate everything we have today, and this is not just extra stuff that libertarians would say are not necessary, much of it they do believe as necessary. So even the most strict still believes that the government has some role to play. Yet you believe that you’re going to get Congress to go through and do everything they need every time it’s needed? Come on. That’s also like saying Congress needs to approve criminal charges against any drug dealer Or gang member that needs arrested. If every single small change in a business regulation needs to go through the entire process of Congress and getting signed by the president, then why shouldn’t every gang member get the same process from Congress before they are rested? Shirley that’s just as important to them. Obviously that’s not how the system is designed, but if you’re gonna say that Congress should have the ability to do it, then Shirley they should have the ability to do that. Because back in our founding days the arrests of people on federal charges were few and far between, so why didn’t they have congress vote on all of them too.
@pfeilspitze
@pfeilspitze 2 ай бұрын
@@iMatti00 You know it's judges that decide how to resolve ambiguity in things like the criminal statutes used to convict drug dealers, right? Exactly like they'll now do (again) for more things now that Chevron is dead. So your analogy doesn't work at all. (And your whole tangent about "some role to play" makes no sense since I was saying that Congress should write laws, not that there shouldn't be laws. I just want my air to be clean because the EPA clearly has the mandate to enforce that, not for the air quality to go up and down depending which president got elected.)

Wait… You dont understand who we are talking about. Presidents have “political appointees” that they are Are able to surround themselves with an fire at will. That is not a problem. We are talking about the everyday people, the scientists, the workers who process paperwork, etc. The supervisors are political appointees and there’s about 4000 of them that run the federal government, project 2025 says that actually the every day workers that are accountable to the supervisors can be fired at will. That is never how it’s been. In fact legislation was written to not allow that because in the past you had a president come in and only put people who agreed with them and who are willing to do their bidding no matter what. So rather than having career educated people who can ADVISE the policy makers (A.k.a. the political appointees) how to process the information, they just awarded loyalists and donors with random jobs. Now in today’s world donors are not gonna want your employee jobs, but you still have the other problems with wiping out the working class experts.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Every day on here I hear know nothing's bxtching about president Trump...well guess what If Obama did his job instead of enrichment of himself and his lackeys Trump never shows up, same thing to the never trumpers) RINOs that have defiled the Republican name...if Bush did what he was supposed to there would be no trump Sure he's uncouth, combative and confrontational But that's exactly what the country needs right now. Let’s be clear. trump believes he will succeed by taking retribution against his political enemies. He doesn’t define it if the middle wor working class are better off. He defines it if HE is personally successful. That could mean forcing government to spend money at his resorts as he did last time. It could mean improving his golf swing. It could mean having all charges dropped and pardoning his allies. Nothing indicates it means better health care, reformed immigration, a fairer tax system, or better incomes.

Rubio would be a good VP pick from those 3. He has been a competent senator who, since 2017, has reached across the aisle while remaining true to conservative agenda. He is also Hispanic and relatively young, so he can be a great 2028 POTUS candidate. Unlike JD Vance who is from a swing state, the re-election of a conservative senator in FL should pose little issue.

What fear mongering and it’s baseless. If this happens then this will happen is a great example of the cognitive distortion of awfulizing and future predicting that which is not even reality and then making fear based short sighted decisions and jumping to erroneous conclusions and making assumptive leaps that have no basis in fact.
