My grandmother's sister had a granny flat and she later officially moved in with us. I didn't understand why all the neighbours were suddenly so angry with me until one of them told this relative had accused me saying horrible things to her. I even got scolding from my mother although she said later that speaking like that was totally out of my character! It only became clear to everyone a year later that she was suffering dementia. The paranoia and delusional sense of victimhood came years before she started forgetting and replacing words (which is why it took a year even people close to her to notice the illness!). The other problem was that we were, or at least I was in denial, because at the beginning her memory and behaviour seemed to return to normal, before she would lapse into madness again. It happened gradually at first, and then the madness and memory lapses increased in frequency and length. But that special bond turned upside down as her illness progressed and her focus on me became so that everything that used to be positive or neutral became negative and an attack on her, and everything negative became even more negative, practically a murder attempt by the people who were closest to her, not that she didn't see strangers as enemies as well. The reason I told about her, is because I see many similarities in Trump, but also in that Biden's outlandish story about his uncle having been eaten by cannibals. Funny how dementia affects people differently. My grandmother, whose sister I just talked about, suffered anxiety when she was younger, but she became an all-smiles kind of person who would suffered only mild anxiety when she didn't recognise the family visiting her in the nursing home, or when she didn't understand how we could "get in" without a key. There was also this old lady in Vietnam who invited me, a total stranger to her home. She didn't only offer me biscuits and sweets, but she would have given me everything she owned if I had accepted them. When I was leaving I saw a sign on the door that said, "Keep the door closed. Do not invite anybody in.", but the lady was obviously too far gone to understand/remember what the note said and why. I'm just glad it was me she invited and not someone who would have taken an advantage.

There are mental health professionals who will do appointments over the internet. Look up psychologist and remote appointment. Be sure to look at their information of their specialties. If your anxiety is related to PTSD, or generalized, for example, you want someone trained in those. You can buy a tea that is known to help calm anxiety. Linden flower tea, and also a cup of sleepy time tea is helpful. You can make a cup with both if you’re feeling very anxious. I had an interview I was highly anxious about, and the mixed tea helped me find my chill. I’m fairly certain you’re being facetious, but I answered on the chance someone who could use the info will read this.
