Inflation was bad, but not an "all time high of bad." The inflation was caused by three MAIN things (the first two immediate and acute and the last one the reason for extended high prices): 1) Pent up demand caused by the pandemic; 2) Supply chain issues casued by the pandemic; 3) Companies gouging customers with higher prices than necessary when they were making record profits. IF you are going to blame Biden and Harris for the inflation, then you MUST also give them credit for getting inflation now back to BELOW historic norms. The fact is that we have a GLOBAL economy and NO US PRESIDENT has the power to greatly affect inflation. You wish that Trump were a different person (as do we all). He is and was not CAPABLE of performing in a debate as a smart and prepared person should. He's not smart. He never prepares because he has the attention span of a gnat, and he took the bait time and time again when Harris so brilliantly attacked his ego. Trump spent valuable time talking about his crowd size and their interest in his rallies, and then he went CRAZY talking about killing babies after they are born and Haitian immigrants eating dogs and cats in Ohio. You have backed a fool who is not capable of doing what you wish he had. Harris is going to win...for sure.

Inflation was a global phenomenon due to a stop in the supply chain from COVID. If you want to blame someone for inflation, it was trump who started the unregulated PPP loans that gave the rich trillions that they were eventually forgiven for. Biden inherited that inflation and brought it down to the fed’s goal of 2%. Compared to other countries, the US came out better economically. I disagree with you politically but respect that you saw that trump did poorly in the debate instead of blaming moderators or saying that Kamala cheated.

plus everybody including self employed got 600 per week bonus plus no rent plus no house payments plus double tarrifs on lumber and steel plus several checks etc etc etc...yet trump gets a pass on inflation. I have no idea why the 8 trillion dumped into the economy in a year is never blamed even a little.

Trump also bullied the FED out of raising rates in 2018 when they were ready to get out in front of the inflation issue because he didn't want it to hurt the stock market. He also imposed tariffs, which are obviously inflationary. It's far more difficult to come up with something that Biden did that significantly contributed to inflation.
