Many important decisions like withdrawal from COP, withdrawal from JCPOA, recognising Jerusalem as Israel's capital were taken at an executive level during the previous Trump administration, without consulting the Congress

India need to take advantage of trump disrupting the trade relationships around the world. Only the question is whether India can provide the high tech quality manufacturing that China has already established. Can India provide the high quality skill-force required for an export economy? Is India's product quality standards in compliance to the requirement from the west?

I think if you see the pattern you will not comment like this. "Farmer "protests 2021; Bangladesh regime change, Mizoram CMs rhetoric on Zo state, Manipur crisis and its arm shipment, US's recent views on Khalistani conflict under the "Five Eyes" , the UKraine conflict leading to repercussions in India on Oil refinery trade affecting US relationship. The delayed appointment of US ambassador to a large country like India, - all of these happened under the Democrat regime. If Kamala Harris gets elected insinuations and charges will gather steam but Trump kept himself off on these issues. He is more protective and hence that will shape out the Indian economy to stand on its own. Swasti please review my comments and see if your views can be better modulated on these critical topics. Of course if a weak and fragile government comes to power it will be a field day for both China and US because India's faultlines are something that these powers work upon. Both have a common denominator a proxy or acolyte called our western neighbour.
