Ezra Klein's latest podcast has one of the best recent analyses of Trump that I've heard. Klein proposes that Trump hasn't significantly changed. He's a narcissist, he's always been a narcissist, and he has always had low inhibition and impulse control. The difference now is that his ability to control himself is diminishing as he ages, and that his next administration will include fewer people who are able to rein him in.

I'm 51, so I grew up having to see the ads for McD's with all the peculiar food-based characters...incl. the trio of Fry Guys and whatever the deal was with Birdie (not sure of the exact name bc this is from memory, I'm sure it's on a Wiki page somewhere) who was a pilot with goggles. I thought these mascots were offputting and silly, but I did love McD's boxed mini cookies (first the choc. chip cookies-later got into the plain vanilla ones) & I miss those so much !

He overfilled the large fry per McDs standards-yes I worked there for 7 years, I was a store manager. Also the way he filled it will cause the fries to break, you are supposed to shake it gently until they are all facing the same direction. Sorry, couldn't help myself it's been 30 years since I saw someone work fries up close. Also for the record, the fry station is freaking high stress during a busy lunch or dinner rush, because you are guessing how many fries to cook for the entire store, if you make too many, you have to dump them after awhile (I think it's 7 minutes?) and if you don't cook enough, you have drive through back up and a mob of co workers circling the fry station trying to fill their orders. tldr: Trump couldn't handle the pressure
