The “chest milk” thing is a solution in search of a problem, IMO. Men & women both have breasts, which is why men can get breast cancer, too. It’s the same tissue. Men’s just aren’t usually functional. Individual parents should definitely use the terms they want to, but I don’t get why medical staff can’t keep using a medical term that already applies to both genders. The main things on the exhaustion fogged mind of a newly lactating parent are “Is baby comfortably latching on & getting enough?” “When can I sleep more than 1- 2 hrs in a row again?”
