I think there have been a couple of cases of kids that were referred to a psychiatrist via the school and got prescribed antidepressants without parents' knowledge. I'm not that sure it even happened, but there were claims coming from the State of Washington where people over 12 can seek mental health treatment independently from their guardian. I think he's claiming something similar would happen, not that nurses perform surgery. I very much doubt a minor could go through with surgery without parental consent, though, and it's way more complicated than going to school and coming back home with sex change surgery...

In the '80s the same thing was said about the Vietnamese, Hmong, Laosians, Filippinos. It was racist then, but the reality is they at least had a culture that had traditionally eaten dogs and cats. It was something that was taught to those new refugees as being unacceptable to Americans. They stayed away from making themselves at risk. Somebody make clear that Hati and The Dominican Republic, do not have a history or culture of eating dogs or cats. I was playing airsoft today, and where I live most of the participants lean towards the conservative end of the political spectrum. I overheard a conversation where a group of guys was listening to their 11 y/o kid spout off a bunch of TikTok lingo about a video game, and one of them said "And that's why we're about to lose the States." and they all chuckled. These guys already know they're going to lose. And if the Trump bravado isn't cooking for them, a lot of other people on the right are probably feeling the same. Good playing with them but god damn they have some stupid ideas about politics!

@13:30 I wish that were true Emma-- except on Intersex kids who are born with intermediary genital morophology (about 1 in 200) it is still TERRIBLY COMMON for the parents to be gaslit and the child to be arbitrarily "assigned" a sex in order to "make them normal" even though in the VAST majority of cases there is NO medical indication or necessity. And so far the ONLY two states to outlaw this have been CA and IL where by contrast, red states actually write exemptions into their anti-trans laws to ensure that they can *CONTINUE* doing these 'assignments' on defenseless Intersex *toddlers and infants* in order to "fix" them for the comfort of straights.
