The investigations into his financial dealings are going on. This kind of investigations take up a lot of time. They have to through an enormously amount of documents and numbers as you heard Cohen say. Have to do the math. Have to compare the numbers on pg. 456 with numbers on pages 603, 710 and 999. If there is a discrepancy for example between asset value for insurance or Texas, they have to fond out of that is somewhere explained in the documents. Yup do not want to present evidence in Court and the defense can just say: read appendix 2.23. That will hurt the personality of the prosecution tremendously. And we are talking about years of financial documents of a complex company. In addition they probably did there ultimate best to hide any wrongdoing in the complicated structure.
