The polls pro Trump are damning for the American people, even when compared to the numbers in Germany in 1932 and 1933 (I.e. the last election before A.H.’s dictatorial reign). The NSDAP received 33.1% of votes in 1932. In 1933 - with Hitler already installed as Chancellor - after his stormtroopers had orchestrated months long campaign of violence against the followers of all parties not aligned with the NSDAP - after months of relentless propaganda and repression still only 43.9% of Germans voted for the NSDAP. We all know the horrendous results of this vote. Now compare this number and circumstances to the US today. It appears that today a far greater percentage of US American voters is willing to submit to a dictatorship, even without being pressured into it, even when they should know full well that what happens now could mirror what happened then. There is no excuse for pissing away your freedoms and the wellbeing of minorities and your neighbors and allies like that. Not one. One additional lesson to be learned for. Germany’s example is, that history will not distinguish between the 43,9% voting for Hitler and the 56,1% who did not vote for him. This is for good reason, because those 56,1% did not do enough to stop him. History (if there is going to be one) will not look kindly upon all of you.

That gives us 2 levels of protection, 1 there are no nukes in this hemisphere, so when he starts a global nuclear war, hopefully only the northern hemisphere will cease to exist & only all the people in every country there need worry that he will be responsible for their deaths & 2 Australia is a longer word than "Austria", so if he tries to nuke, or otherwise attack us, chances are he'll hit Austria instead I think there is a lot of denial as to how severe the problem is in the US, such as is seen in the replies to your comment, with people seemingly not grasping that he has the power to cause an extinction level event globally & therefore it is absolutely the business & concern of every person on this planet

@@JillKnapp idk how much he's following our news, but right now Canada is trying to prevent America from continuing to monopolize the entertainment and tech industries, and syphine canadian money into the US economy with no return to our economy - so we're taxing these compnaies higher now to essentially sell their product to Canadians, or the government is only approving international deals like CTV with NBC (CTV owns the Canadian streaming rights and is paid by Canadian advertisers and subscribers for this content, therefore the profits stay within our country) As a result of trying to implement higher taxes on facebook and instagram, zuckerburg denied canadians access to the news as punishment to try to get them to roll it back. Essentially, Canada wants to charge a tax on these non-physical products being sold across the internet border by these tech and streaming monopolies - but want to offload the tax to the companies, instead of the canadian consumer.

I'm an European. My home country Norway is far from being a utopian paradise, but also far from being a despotic dictatorship, which is more than can be said about the South American country where I currently reside. And which is also more than can be said about USA, much much more, _should trump ever be allowed back into the White House._ I am fearing that South American authoritarian regimes will become peanuts compared to a trumpian Banana Republic (or should we say Covfefe Republic?). I am dead serious. And no one, of the rational part of the world that is, wants to see that become reality, for obvious reasons. As even many US citizens point out every so often; *_what happens in USA affects us all._* Democracy's survival, worldwide, is at stake, and out little planet can hardly afford a US fascist regime that does NOT take climate change seriously. In other words: trump *_needs_* to be made an example of, and face and taste the justice and accountability he deserves, the same being the case as regards all his co-conspirators and enablers. Your country needs it, USA, and so does the rest of the world. While we foreigners definitely are wishing you all the best, dear good sensible people of USA, we are really wishing us all, all the best. I might be "just" a Norwegian onlooker, but I have an American boyfriend, and I have an aunt who is one of the far too many trumpetrified ones all across the globe who've trumped themselves apart from their families, and my closest ones and I are directly affected by how the pathetic authoritarian "government" where we live (Bolivia) caved in to the pressure of anti-vaxx movements, same movements who let themselves be inspired by trump himself, trump and his grotesque mishandling of the pandemic. There are bound to be countless of cases similar to mine, of World citizens outside of the US who have their own personal (if not sheer existential) reasons for needing to see real justice being served to trump & Co. This is global, folks. To a degree where it almost feels/seems unjust that only US citizens can vote, over yonder in the world's most influential country. *Best wishes!* 💙 💙 💙 💙 🇧🇻 ❤️ 🇺🇸 ⚖️
