Here's the thing, jelly DOES come off the knife easier. However, this is a strength and drawback. If any traces of jelly is left on the knife, then there is a good chance that it will contaminate the peanut butter. In contrast, peanut butter is harder to get off the knife. Therefore, putting it in jelly will only make the jelly stick to the peanut butter, or of course the knife, leaving virtually no traces of peanut butter in the jelly. In conclusion, peanut butter first is a safer bet if you want to keep your condiments separate.

Peanut butter should go first because it will stick to the knife and almost none will end up in the jar of jelly. but if you do jelly first your gonna end up with alot of jelly in your peanut butter jar, jelly has to be refrigerated where as peanut butter usually isnt. If you store the contaminated peanut butter the jelly will mold causing you and whoever else uses that peanut butter to get sick. alittle peanut butter in your jelly is meh, who cares.

For the PB and J one, you just get Jelly and put it on one piece of bread, then wipe the remaining Jelly on the other peice of bread so the knife isn't that sticky,then you put the peanut butter on the piece of bread as normal. See SIMPLE.

James when you spread jelly first 1st When you spread it good the knife is clean. Problem Peanutbutter is difficult to spread. Imagine placing pressure to the knife to spread it, the jelly will be smothered and due to its viscosity. The peanut butter will make a mess with the jelly. On the other hand 2nd you are using the peanut butter If you apply the butter onto the bread it can be cleaned by applying enough pressure to the knife. There maybe residue, but the jelly will be able to spread with no problem since jelly is a less viscous liquid than peanut butter. Problem residue maybe be on the knife (counter problem depending on the consistency and viscosity of the peanut butter it will not spread onto the jelly jar or container since the viscosity of the peanut butter will have enough molecular bonds to stay within it's oobleck mixture.) Thus peanut butter must come first.

9/11 would still be happening, though it would be at a later date. 9/11 is that type of inevitability surrounded by various circumstances that you can't really prevent forever (it's the center that maintain the current house of cards, in a twisted deranged way, so to speak). There are other examples that if you'd prevent them, they'd still occur, like the 1st World War, colonialism, TNT, the Mongol invasion, Caesar's assassination, sacking of Rome by the Gauls or Celts, and preventing all that decadent debauchery done by your mom according to CoD players.

If you spread the jelly first, then the little bit you have left on the knife will get into the peanut butter and spoil in the cabinet unless you store all of the peanut butter in the fridge which makes it hard and therefore difficult to spread. However, if you spread the peanut butter first, then you don't have to worry

With peanut butter you can scrape the peanut butter off back into the peanut butter container by using the side. Jelly is sticky and can stick on the knife no matter how hard you try. Unless you try really hard to scrape it onto the bread. But its way more logical to choose peanut butter first.

The peanut butter is a more stable base to spread the jelly on afterwards as opposed to the reverse where your peanut butter covered knife will completely fuck your jelly layer up. In between simply scrape the knife on the inside rim of the jar to remove excess peanut butter. Peanut butter -> jelly is clearly the superior choice. Unless you're some kind of heathen that spreads only one layer on the top and one on the bottom piece of bread.

I always only use one knife, and always PB first. It sticks to the knife and doesn't come off in the jelly. If you use jelly first, you are going to get more jelly in the peanut butter than you would have the other way around. And jelly is supposed to be refrigerated, whereas peanut butter does not have to be, but can be.

You should spread the peanut butter first because getting shelf-stable PB in the jelly (a refrigerated fruit product) isn't as bad as having poorly stored jelly in your PB. In other words, peanut butter won't rot if it gets in jelly, but jelly might rot if a little gets in your PB and you leave it in the cupboard. Unless you're some kind of freak who keeps their peanut butter in the fridge. Additionally, a thin coating of peanut butter is unlikely to come off just from scooping up the jelly. You aren't thinking for the future, James, only for the present.

pb and jelly- some people put butter on their bread to prevent the jam from making the bread all soggy and nasty. but with butter it doesnt get all the jam off the knife, and when u stick it in the peanut butter it gets it all mixed up and gross. but peanut butter is thicker and you can just wipe it on the clean piece of bread and then go ham in the jam

6:00 It depends on what spoils faster, I'd assume jelly spoils fastest so I would have to dip it in peanutbutter first incase it leaves peanutbutter in the jelly jar, as opposed to leaving jelly in the peanut jar, and having it spoil. If the difference is minimal then we can consider bread crumbs molding out in which case it depends on which comes off the cleanest after spreading without wiping it on anything. This will depend on the knife being plastic or metal and how liquid the jelly is or wet it is. Lastly this depends on How i cannot believe you read this far congrats trooper. Peanut Butter is rather sticky and Jelly is also sticky so It is hard to identify unless you experiment and compare various peanut butter jar brands and jelly brands but this Doesnt matter at all if you have any of the jars that mixes both together in the same place (usually with preservative chemicals to let them remain edible in the same time spans)
