Ironically, Trump faces all 3 of those in this run. Loses to a Raid Boss Onyxia, defeats someone who discovered a Ysera, and narrowly ekes out a victory against someone who drafted two colossals.

Ban ALL Colossals, Ysera and Raid Boss Onyxia from arena. You can basically win the match and have it all under control, but a SINGLE card can just completely turn the match around. It has nothing to do with skill when you drop one of those cards, but more of how lucky you were doing the drafting or at the discover options.

Ban not only from drafts, but the entire format. Else there’s minimal difference with all the explorers/amalgams/other discovers still finding them all

@@spinethrasher5371 There is a difference, maindecking matters a lot more for one's winrate than the ability to discover ingame. A nonsense game here and there is par for the course in a draft format but drafting a single card that raises your run's wins by 3 was a problem with heroes and it's the same for colossals.

I honestly think HS is skimping on reward gold as of late in arena and duels lately. My last 3 games in arena, I have 2 8 win runs and 1 9 win run, and the most I've gone up past initial investment is 80 gold. A little before that I had a 12 win run and only went up like 160 or something in that range. you should double your money in the 8/9 win range and go up like 300 at 12, based on the payouts at 3/4 wins.

Less gold from arena rewards means you don't have as much for packs, which means you would need to spend more money to get more packs on average. Makes sense for this small indie company, you know. They need to make more money. 40 Million USD per month is obviously not nearly enough...

You don't need legendaries for warlock, warlock is OP. I got an easy 12-0 with no legendaries, just aggro with a generally overtuned deck

Warlock can get away with not having those things if your deck is solid enough because tap carries you super hard once you get later on

@@TheMirksta My lifetime WR vs warlock is an outlier due to playstyle and tap but that wasn't it, mage's generation is better than tap, tap is also a tempo loss which doesn't help winning before your opponent has mana for colossals and drakefire amulets, all of which are probably in a slow deck past 7 wins. Hollow abomination and spawn of deathwing are ridiculous, on par with colossals but playable several turns earlier.
