To the people who complain about net decking, my version of this deck ws the 2x po version. (made in a vaccume) which is what trump gravitated towards and other pro made 2 cards off from; im sure this story is not unique. The card pool is not big enough to complain about netdecking. decks are to obvious as is.

I actually really suck at possibility calculations and I don't even try the more complicated ones. The % that always pops up is supposed to be the probability of discarding any specific card in the hand (and not the chance of any of the 3 possible end results like in your comment). I was a bit confused about the Doomguard calculation but in the end I calculate the chance NOT to discard a specific card (2/3*1/2) which is 33% with a 3 card hand and then turned that around meaning that the chance to discard a specific card is 66%. That was my logic. If thats wrong I would be grateful for the correct calculation. Thanks. ~ Jens

Yeah but still, Yogg left the druid with 2 taunts, 3 4/4, a 7/2 with stealth and deathrattle, it drew him 1 card, played him a secret and almost wiped Trump's entire board. One single card did that, it looks pretty ridiculous to me. Even if Trump had played around a board clear he would have still lost with that Yogg.

I just want to suggest a different disco lock where you focus on more medium range cards. I tried a reno themed demon synergy deck with prince malchezaar. demonfuse is really strong when you put it on malchezaaars imp turn two.

I feel like Tiny Knight of Evil has a place in the deck simply to justify the fact that you are playing 6 discard cards, plus 2 copies of imp to deal with the side effects of discarding. A third of your deck is discard-mechanic related, but only the two Golems lead to a benefit with the mechanic (disregarding scenarios with massive setup requirements and luck of the draw like double imp on field). Tiny Knight essentially plays the same role as Councilman: it's a threat because it keeps growing if not dealt with. As long as you have many discard effects (which you do) and don't have Forbidden Ritual for massive summon (which you don't), I think Tiny Knight is worth considering. Can't prove that it's better, but I don't think it's strictly worse.

Could be a pretty cheap minion with "Battlecry: Cards you discarded this turn are shuffled back into your deck." so you have to play it at the end of your turn, meaning there's a risk you might discard it. Or you could do something like "Battlecry: At the end of your turn shuffle all cards you discarded this turn into your deck." if the previous effect is too weak. You could give a Legendary minion "When you discard a card shuffle a copy of it into your deck." for the continuous value if you can keep it alive. If you want spells you could have like "Add a copy of a random card you discarded to your hand", but that feels kinda weak. Maybe 2 copies of that card?

I've personally found prince malachezar actually meshes well Cuz 1 you burn through cards real quick in discard so having 5 extra keeps fatigue away and 2 having a bunch of legendary is nice from time to time also. I haven't tried it yet but reno might also work in this deck. just food for thought.

i think removing fist of jar is a wrong choice since aside from the silverware golem it's the only card with a sinergy with discard (may be weak but still is the core of the deck)

Fist is simply a terrible card. You're better off playing Gormok if you really want 4 free damage consistently in this deck, at least then you can aim it and put a 4/4 on the board. Fist alone in your hand is a nightmare, especially if you are cutting the succ's.

At what point do you 'know' he'd lose against Yogg druid? Yogg is all about 'screw the rules, here's the real winner'. It could play a Tree of Life, or Mind Control your opponent's board, or wipe your own board, or deck you out. The card is too random, and although I like it for the hilarity value, it is really broken and I'll be happy to see it go.

At the point he forewent going face against a deck centered around staying in the game and wiping your board with Yogg. Yogg is not 'too random', If there's one thing you can count on Yogg doing when you've cast a ton of spells it's wiping a board, anything else is his real randomness. Trump deserved to lose that game because he chose to play the long term control plan against a deck centered around long term control, had he traded less and gone face more often Yogg woulden't have had the chance to come in there and 'ruin' the game.Yogg might throw a wrench in some other carefully constructed deck plans, but he's also the only chance some classes have of fighting the likes of shaman or control warrior, which are much less 'random' but far more cancerous to play against, precisely because of their predictable and reliable nature.

This is basically my discolock experience. It can be massively powerful...then a massive fail. My win rate was insane...but completely inconsistent. I would go on a 6 win streak...then a 5 loss streak. Those discards can be evil. When they drop the golem its great...but when you drop a doomguard with 3 cards and the silverware stays in your hand its FEELSBAD!

I disagree with your direction on this deck. I think it works better if you ignore the disadvantage of discarding, so include cards like succubus and soulfire, and just wager that you will get a high value play to make up for lost cards. Malchezar's Imp makes it possible to recoup your losses, and essentially turns cards like Doomguard into 5 mana 5/7 charges without having to empty your hand. Sure you lose cards, but as long as you win before you run out of cards you're golden.

imagine this deck faces mill rouge.. the match would end so fast.. also this deck have no chance competing against mage...flame strike would wipe out all your minions... fatigue warrior is a major issue as well... blizzard could improve new warlock mechanics by adding something like "Discards First", so when playing doom guard it will be guaranteed to discarded these cards on card play, instead of the silly RNG... this would encourage more smarter play and planning. and actually using hero power to try draw these "Discard First" cards.
