I think Trump overestimated the Blackrock saw Blackhowl gunspire combo. Both Gunspire and Bouncing blade are in wild and nobody has even seriously considering a combo like that. And the combo with the weapon is weaker because you're transmitting it a turn early, giving your opponent a chance to counter it by destroying the weapon or playing small minions, so the combo would be unreliable. Maybe it's safer to not have them in the same rotation but it wouldn't be game breaking op level interaction

2:20 the debt is the fact that you get a dead draw. It's actually one of the most flavourful custom hearthstone cards I've ever seen: you cash in the draw now and get dead draws later, with interest (3 instead of 2 cards). I'd give this 6 stars for design!

Oh damn! I've thought of the exact same idea for the upgraded Shaman power! I've always thought that the Shaman upgraded power never felt right for what it should be. Being able to choose is nice...but isn't good enough for an upgrade. So making better totems is a much better idea and differentiates between the Paladin power. They're both summoner classes with their powers, so to make them different, the Paladin upgrade makes more creatures while Shaman makes improved ones. The only thing is I would do slightly different upgraded totems and I'd come up with brand new names and art for the new totems. Also you can make new designs that work with upgraded totems as well, so that's cool.

The aforementioned Blackrock Saw + Blackhowl Gunspire combo wouldn't necessarily be as gamebreaking as it's made out to be. Firstly the enemy would have to have a completely clear board, otherwise the saw would likely just smack a random minion and end.

I'm a little scared of the Spell Damage +2 part of that Shaman hero power. I'm in full favor of the rest and I would love to see a change to it. The rest of the totems seem balanced and all, but Spell Damage +2 is something used very sparingly throughout Hearthstone. I just don't think that should be on a Hero Power - it means Zap now can deal 5 damage and Beakered Lightning can deal 3 damage AOE on turn 2. I guess it would counter the perfect Heal Zoo opener, but do we really want a game decided on a 25% of Spell Damage +2? I don't.

Thinking about that reminded me of the ONiK-era midrange shaman. If you took board control early, they would just sit there and hero power until they rolled a spell damage totem, then full clear while building their own board with some combination of Spirit Claws, Maelstrom Portal, and Lightning Storm. There isn't as much Spell Damage synergy in Standard right now, but I'd still be wary of the board clear potential of a Lightning Storm if they have a few turns to just roll totems until they get a +2 Spell Damage.

It might be I'm just a little concerned about it because the other times we've seen Spell Damage +2 has been a 4 mana 2/2 and a 6 mana 4/4 and a 7 mana 2/8. We also have the Mage 4 mana 4/3 and the Mage 2 mana 2/1 that gives it to one spell. Then there's a Druid 4 mana 4/4 that gives it to both players. In all these cases, you get them out later than this Hero Power. I'm just scared that games can be decided like this.

The 'loan' is drawing two cards. the 'debt' is giving up a draw. You get two draws right away, but end up with less draws by the time you've gotten all the debt.

I think the shady loan and debt cards could be printed as 0 and 3 mana (because you don't pay up front for a loan). i think balance could be upped by saying the debt card destroys 2 mana crystals at the start of your turn as long as it is in your hand. and maybe you could even move the debt card to being 2 mana because if it stays in your hand for 1 turn, it gets rid of 5 mana (so the earlier you pay off your debt, the better you are). the math on 5 mana for staying in your hand for 1 turn is, say you're at 10 mana and debt is in your hand. at the start of your turn you go to 8 mana (-2) and then you play debt (-2) and then your next turn you only go back up to 9 mana (-1).

Shady loan lets you draw 2 cards right away for 1 mana, but it adds 3 Debt cards to your deck that are completely useless cards. Those Debt cards are dead draws meaning that drawing them is like not drawing at all which can be very bad in the long term, especially in a top deck war.

Rogue has cards like Faldorei Strider. IMO the debt could be something like, "when drawn summon a 2/2 Debt collector for your opponent." This could deter tempo/baku rogue decks from playing this card (Doesn't have to be a 2/2, could be 3x 2/2 per debt drawn).

Upgraded shaman hero power is really useful in control, just don't think theres a deck to support it yet. Having a taunt every turn, stacking spell power and having guarenteed heals/+1 spell damage for 2 mana is a lot of utility

Memory stone: The question is how it interacts with zavas and silverware golem etc. If it's worded in a way that it does not interfere for those, it would be stronger. Further, I'd assume the discard still count toward Lana'thel and quest, which is a side benefit. Further, it would work great with Malchazzar's Imp If it worked "perfectly" in those two aspect, then it could be used to mitigate the unreliability problem of disco lock, which might actually make the archetype work as is. The problem with that have always been RNG to begin with IMO, getting multiple discard in hand discarding each other etc. Speedy Skelly: The question here that I would like to pose is.... is this really worse than an unchecked flappy bird? Little Suize: I think we need a 1/1 dragon if you know what I mean.

My suggestion for changes to shady loan: shuffle the debts first. 2 mana draw 3 cards. Debts are: 3 mana; deal 1 dmg to your hero at the end of the turn, deals more dmg each turn this is in your hand. (Keeping in the theme of how loan sharks chase you down)

Little Susie is supposed to create the archetypes, which are not dragon and elemental. So you get a beast, a murloc and a mech and not two beast. So faituful lumi is just fine. (I expected a 0 mana 1/1 Mech in this expansion anyway).

Memory Stone seems like it'd be decent in discard lock...people have tried running quest lock and their main issue is actually that other than clutchmother, a card like this one doesn't really exist. Being able to return a card you didn't WANT to discard back to your hand in a deck like that may make it a bit TOO op though, cause that IS the biggest drawback of questlock. Getting permanent 6/4s at the end of each turn would be so much more enticing for people if they ran 2 memory stones to make sure they didn't discard their guldan and dreadlords

I would argue that Debt is balanced since it kills 3 draws but gives 2. Although too often you would never see any dept. So the easy solution is to make it so that debt fills your hand. Like when you draw debt, add 2 additional debt cards to your hand.

I think Shady loan would be fairly balanced if the text on Debt was "While this is in your hand: at the start of your turn, destroy one of your mana crystals." Basically would softlock you to your current mana total until you played it, and it would also incentivize playing Debt as soon as possible, as stacking multiple in your hand would actually make you lose mana every turn.

Also, I think that a better redesign to Rock Fist would be to make it only target minions, as then you have the aspect of only being able to summon Deeproot when there is a minion to target, and it would also mean that the opponent can play around it, as they would be expecting it the turn following Deeproot's deathrattle.

I watch a lot of trump's hs custom cards and I think trump think tech cards (like target a mech at the start of your turn destroy that spot) Only works when the enemy have mech.But how about a deathrattle mech deck?
