- I don't think you guys are losers by any means, deserve all that hate, or even hold on to any bad feelings you have for these Death Battles. But you do tend to disagree with a fight with nothing more than "I like this character, so that's why they should win." - They specifically said that Silver can disrupt all of Trunks technology with his psychic powers. This includes Trunk's time travel wrist band. Thus, eventually, Silver would be the only one able to travel through time, as he can perform it without the aid of said technology. Even if you think time travel would equate to a draw, Silver would be the only who has it by the end of the fight. - Death Battle looks for who would win the most times out of all potential matches, not just a couple of times thanks to one really good move or skill. So that means while Trunks could win, say, 40% of the time, Silver has enough advantages to take the win the other 60%. - Yes, they don't know EXACTLY every detail that would happen in a fight, such as who would do what and when, but that's what they are trying to figure out: Based on what abilities they have, they are trying to find out who would generally win more often than not. - Segata vs Chuck was obviously a joke fight. It was never going to have a serious conclusion other than a draw. This is not one of those fights. - I've watched every single Death Battle and am a devoted fan. And they have never not counted something because it was incalculable. I think what you are thinking of is that they disregarded stuff that is unsupported by the original material, such as Tetsuo creating an alternate universe or Jin having full control over his Devil Gene. That's the rule they use: any material that is supported by the original source is viable. Nothing in the the Archie Sonic comics contradicts those feats. It's just saying those speed feats are impossible to measure. I know you probably won't read this, but just know that while I don't think you guys are very skilled in arguing against vs matches, there are still people who don't think you any less for doing so.

The closest thing I can think of when it came to Death Battle disregarding something incalculable was "Wally West vs Archie Sonic", and I only remember them doing that because both combatants had recorded speed feats that made it hard to figure out the upper limit of their speed. And even then, speed was still accounted for to a degree.

@@williamgreci8219 That was more of a case of both characters having super infinite speed which in turn didn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Kinda like how in "Hercules vs Wokung" both had infinite strength, so they moved on what else those two characters had. Or Goku Black vs Reverse Flash where both had time travel paradox power so they moved on what else those two characters had. Or when it turned out both Zatana and Scalet Witch realty warping powers where basically the same. All of these are cases of "these two characters are equal in this stat/ability, so let's focus on others factors". But as you said, they still take into account all of this, but it's not their fault that sometimes characters have equal feats.

I remember Ben saying he wanted to remove the "settle it once and for all" statement from their intros because he doesn't really believe in that anymore/ or possibly never believed in that in the first place. He sees DB as a discussion piece where they put their opinion on who would win out there to either start a conversation or add to an existing one. Well on re-reading this isn't exactly a true "opposite" to what you said, they do believe that the fights they put out are the most likely outcome, but that doesn't mean the conversation on it has to end.

Nate got it right with "they give the victory to who would win most times". Death Battle's team gets together and try to figure out which character would win most times based on their abilities and skills and equipment and after multiple nerdy debates they give the victory to the character that in theory should win. Cause at the end of the day Death Battle isn't "who would win", but "who should win". And in this episode's case Trunks could beat normal Silver, but Super Silver could take everything Trunks could do. Oh! And draws are only used for joke fight or the very rare cases where two charactes are perfectly equal. Which is why it's been years since the last draw.

A thing people don't get about Death Battle, or VS debates in general, it's that it rarely is objective. You can interpret feats certain way or assume powers would interact in some form that gives one of the characters an advantage over the other, but the same could go the other way. It's fine if you disagree, there's no real answer anyways, and it's not like Death Battle gained has some sort of legitimacy over VS debating in general because the show's gotten popular or because they have a cool animation to go along with their argument. Just try to enjoy it, and keep being awesome you guys.

Honestly, I used to get really peeved by these things too. In the end, you just need to keep in mind that there is, more often than not, no correct answer for these things. I believe Stan Lee said himself something along the lines that the writer determines the strength of a character and that strength can change on a whim. Because of this, the power levels of fictional characters can be very inconsistent and arbitrary. I’m sure if the writers crossed these characters over in any official capacity they wouldn’t hesitate to change their power levels for convenience.

I’m sure I’m probably going to get lumped into the hater category because the Renegades are probably so sick of having to read negative comments I imagine I’ll look like just another one, but in all honesty I agree with them about the outcome of this battle. I did NOT agree with them on Saitama vs Popeye, but I can see where they’re coming from. The reason I disliked that video however wasn’t because I didn’t agree with them, but because it was kind of unpleasant to watch compared to other reactions of it where people were enjoying the battle even if they didn’t agree. To be honest I felt like the same kind of energy was all over this video as well. You guys looked absolutely miserable from the start, in no small part due to all the hate you get, unjustified tho it may be imo. Still, I don’t want to watch a video where people are reacting to something because they feel like they HAVE to if they aren’t able to enjoy themselves. I enjoy this channel a lot and I enjoy everyone’s commentary as well, and I’m going to continue to watch the other content here, but I think I’m gonna give the Death Battle reactions a pass for awhile, because I don’t want to see someone forcing themselves to watch something they no longer find fun. Silver used to play a big part in the game universe which was sadly only in Sonic 06 but they made him extremely powerful in the Rival Boss Fight in Gens even if he only used the Chaos Emerald to power himself but then in Forces, he needs Sonic's help to take down Infinite which the weirdest thing is he was insanely strong with his Psychokinesis in 06 when you first fight him. I honestly hate the 2010s so much because Silver has been treated as weak & inferior and is useless, he couldn't do anything in Gens and sucking him into a rift so easily is bs, he is clever enough to react to that but everyone else except Sonic were given horrible treatment and always depending on Sonic for everything.

Bruh the anger at what is basically an assured win is insane- The Xenoverse is a lower level of infinity then the Archie Comics. Infinite moments in infinite universes in a finite amount of timelines. The time-scrolls guarantee that it WILL be finite in its own way. While Archie Comics has infinite moments in infinite universes in infinite timelines, all of which are a part of a multiverse of multiverses. Trunks Scales to Infinity Squared. Archie Silver scales to Infinity Cubed. Also, he can redirect a super-sonic level of power-blasts with ease. So all of the Ki abilities Trunks has can be redirected. It’s no contest. The thing about the time traveling argument being fuckey is kinda not a factor given they directly mention that Silver's telekinesis can disrupt and destroy advanced technology in the past. Also, the reason why they mentioned possible win scenarios is that it wasn't a simple matchup in the slightest. The goal is to find who has the most likely win scenarios. Trunks has some given the nature of his powers and base Silver being objectively weaker, but Super Silver has far more safe and likely win scenarios that Trunks lacks reliable counters to.

personally as someone who doesn't care for a lot of death battle episodes, i absolutely adore this one because silver deserves so much better than he gets, and it's just so nice to see him shown in this good a light for once. the fact that they managed to make his infamous line of "It's no use" as badass as it was in the final scene, is already cause to consider this the best death battle yet. i will agree their logic had some faults though, they're very inconsistent in general and it's why i don't watch the majority of death battles

The thing with immeasurable speed is well a lot of characters can reach that point. Power scaling and vs debating is fully on what the person believes. Immeasurable speed is exactly what it sounds like. Ways characters can reach that point is by moving in stopped time like silver did and time traveling with speed alone like how a bunch of comics characters can do like flash, superman, thor ect. There are a lot more speeds like infinite speed and irrelevant speed. For one to win a vs debate you need to put out a claim that no one can argue with. On top of that people can ask for low balls , what's most consistent and high balls at which people can argue about that. Death battle tries to argue the character at their most powerful which a lot of people argue with because sometimes they don't really do that. Like in scarlet witch vs zatanna they left out a super big feat for Wanda, the house of imagination feat would of got her the win. On top of that in black Adam vs apocalypse they left out the time the living lighting knocked himself out of the speed force which is a giant feat. They also don't go in to dimensional tiering which is headache in itself.
