Inoue said it himself that he wants his body to get adjusted and accustomed to 122 and feel comfortable before he moves up to his 5th weight class to 126 and fight the bigger and stronger guys in that division! You are so correct on that professionalism on training camp and making the fight.. I remember Inoue got a flu before Adrian Hernandez fight. He had to get better really fast and at the end, he had to lose 10KG within 1 week. Well, he made the fight and won but he had leg cramps and you can see him not moving much. Inoue and his father looked so happy winning that fight after the severe weight loss and cramps lol

Goodman has to loose his mandatory spot. How could he get cut in the first place and then let it re open? You should have stopped sparring after the cut, its your fault it happened in the first place. You already had the fight postponed once, you have to lose your spot after putting the division on hold for 6 months. Sucks but the division has to move on. Hopefully we can see Inoue vs Akhmadaliev, if he beats him, and Nakatani this year then he would have almost cleaned out the division this year which will be amazing.

Sam really screwed this for everyone. He took a tune up fight in the Fall when he could of just honored the mandatory and be done with. But the guy did have 2 mandatory so it is w/e, the guy used his one freebie. Now he pulled out twice on his IBF mandatory? Nope, he is done. Lets move on. Also I strongly disagree that Inoue should move up, Picasso is a challenge that makes sense and I would prefer the Akhmadaliev fight even though he has been acting entitled. Because Inoue has already moved up enough weight classes, he could move up again but he shouldn't rush it, eventually that will catch up to him if he tries to move up so rapidly. He's done more than enough to take his time. If he rushes it and wins then the next demand will be he moves up to super featherweight, then lightweight like Americans are already pushing for right now, soon he'll be fighting guys who are too big for no reason.

​@@Truschoolsports I think you might have misread a detail in that interview with Junto. He said he wanted to unify at 118 and then have at least 2 tune-ups at 122 before going for the Inoue fight. He didn't say he wanted 2 more fights at 118 and then go straight for Inoue as his first fight in the new weight class. Inoue's original decision to stay and fight Junto was based on the assumption that Junto would want that fight within a year or so (an assumption that seems to have been based on Bob Arum's wishlist, not based on any communication with team Nakatani). So now that Junto is being more specific about his timeline, I think there's a chance Inoue says fuck that and just moves up this year.
