I bought this 6 weeks ago to combat my smart phone addition , and I love it ,as long as you near a wifi it can do the same as on your smart phone (just in black and white) witch makes it god enough for the basic but to annoying to doom scrolling,

My main question is: can you read in landscape mode? And to do so is there auto-rotation or a manual rotation option? Thanks

I am so disappointed that this isn't a phone. I'd much rather have my phone like this and my tablet more display capable. Feels backwards.

Can I Save a Picture and use it as my screensaver or do i have to use the Same Screensaver Picture which I See in every Video about the Boox Palma? You mentioned the TCL 50 Nxtpaper. Do you have any reviews on That? I don’t find much Information about it but I think its very interesting?

I think this fails as a detox device simply because it allows you to install most of the apps that'd work on a smartphone? You want a detox phone? Get a Nokia phone, circa 2001. No chance of getting distracted there.

The refresh rate is very Bad so Doomscrolling or watching Videos with it is nearly impossible. Its not fun, so you will use it to read or Chat and use your mainphone less. So my thaugts. Its a good compromise between having a phone but Limit its functionality.
