I'm a massive fan of the products coming out lately from SkateOne. Particularly all of these new wheels, from the Dragons to Andy's to the X-Formulas. George Powell really has been cooking up some special stuff.

I’ve gotta check out the X-Formula’s! Everybody I’ve heard talk about them loves them.

Love my green Dragons and my Nano's. They are both awesome to ride but I like the shape of the Nano more. IM 40 and just got on a skate again last year after 20 years. The dragons where the 3rd set of wheels I bought after getting back into skating (Nanos where 4th) and they made a HUGE difference in my knee and foot pain. Nano's feel the same to me, yeah a little harder but honestly I don't really notice the difference but that's probably because I still suck at skating, lol

this is the review i was searching for... ive been riding the 93a cubics for the last 2 months and primarily only skate bowl and 1/4 pipe stuff... just getting into stalls and 5050s and got my first rock and roll in 34 years! ( im 48 now :) just wanted the confidence to know im not going to stick to metal copings when i start actually grinding a longer distance... i'm hoping these do it for me 🙏

What size do you ride? I want to learn to ride bowls. Fairly well maintained skate park, if that matters.

@@JaviSancho93 60mm dude… hold speed. Nice and casual on the speed gain and grippy when you need grip . Slide when asked and lock into everthing

Bearings on backwards? I thought the black ring goes on the outside?

I am considering getting nano cubic, but now sure which durometer to get the 93a or 97a. I have the mini logo 90a and 95a and love them both

Depends what you want, but the safe option is the option that's in the middle of what you already know you love, the 93's, which I think are just the standard dragon wheel. The 97a option will be a bit faster on smooth pavement, and will slide better, but on rough pavement they will probably be slower.

Damn, dude! Wasn't expecting this level of skating but yer not half bad. Had a set of these before and recently ordered more and I agree that both these and the dragons serve separate purposes and each have something to offer depending on your style or the terrain.

I skate the green dragon wheels and not had a problem with crooked grinds only when I lean to much forward 😂

If the threads on your truck get strip, it might be possible to take it to a pipe machinist shop to rethread it (where plumbers go to have their pipes custom thread). But the charge is probably gonna be the same as buying a new truck.
@JaviSancho933 ай бұрын
You can also buy a re-thread kit from a hardware or auto store.

I have them both. I love them both. I think I like the nanos better, BUT! I like the regular shape of the Dragons. If I could have 97a dregons itd be perfect
@diceman200412 күн бұрын
NO , it doesn't stick out to protect the truck , it sticks out so the nut doesn't rub om the ground , so you can do tricks on the side of the wheel .
