I was surprised she id not mention, but it may be int he book, the rookie officer who pulled them over late at night, it was in a documentary, the interview was incredible. He was new on the job, and he said he stayed until retirement and never had close to another story like it. I think that Peter Lawford was the one driving, Frank Sinatra was there, I think the doctor, and, RFK. I think she was given an enema that was lethal, for not much was found in the stomach region, it was a way to mask a murder, and has been brought up for some reason in her case. He stopped them speeding late at night on the way to LAX on the freeway, and they were completely freaked out about being stopped, and RFK kept hiding his face. It's awful to think about, for I have met very few important people, but I did meet him as a child when my father was a minister in Atlanta and we went to the funeral march. I got lost and he helped me find my parents, so to put that with a creepy murderer is just hard to reconcile with. However, and I had not thought this until now, so writing does help thinking, he was with Rosie Greer, and my mom said Rosie was really mad at him for having a child on his shoulders. Now I really see why, it was risky behavior, he was out in public, this was the march, not the funeral, and he was, in Rosie Greer's eyes, a potential target, and RFK was engaging in risky behavior with a child. He literally put me on his shoulders for a good portion of the walk/march, until the Secret Service caught up at some point, my dad remembered them calling him Mad Dog or some thing. Mad Dog is on the loose! And they hauled him off to a limo I saw at a parking lot at the end of a side street.

The Carlysle Hotel in NYC was the Kennedy's playground. They had their parties there. I was a military avionics technician. It's insane to try and fly a plane at night without being instrument rated. To do it, you literally have to ignore all of your senses, which are telling you something different, and put your trust in gauges on a dashboard. I couldn't believe he was allowed to take off.

Someplace on KZbin is a very detailed account of this flight by a former air crash investigator. He documents the litany of errors that resulted in this fatal crash. The flight was supposed to arrive late afternoon/early eve. It was going to be VFR all the way and would follow the coast. Technically he didn’t have to file a flight plan, though it is the smart thing to do. Other pilots knew that mist was likely to form at this time of the year and I think they told JFKjr this. This also was a new airplane for him. He sold his old single engine aircraft and bought this new twin engine airplane. He was not multi-engine rated. I think he had only about 20hrs in it so he wasn’t familliar with it. They all showed up hrs late and didn’t actually take off until 8:30pm. He had used his autopilot during much of flight. He mistuned his radio after he left control of his departure airport. So yes he couldn’t communicate. He had an uneven fuel load and I think there was an issue that prevented him from balancing the fuel load. The autopilot compensated for this, but ha was low on fuel. As predicted the mist set in and the light failed because the took off late. He was now unsure of his position. His plan was to lower is altitude and see if he could see Nantucket. When he shut off the autopilot, the aircraft made a sharp diving turn because of the unbalanced fuel load. He managed to turn the autopilot back on and the airplane recovered. But now very low on fuel, and needed to find someplace to land, he turn off the autopilot and the airplane became unstable again. He became spatially disoriented and slammed into the ocean. While I don’t think he meant harm to himself, his wife or sister-in-law, he was negligent and it killed all of them.

Mmmmmm....as a divorce attorney and criminal law attorney for over 20 years, I'd dispute that claim. When there is a mental health issue, women are orders of magnatude more fucked up then men. There are always exceptions, but I've had WAY more cases where mothers have harmed or involved their kids than any men when they lose their shit. They are also significantly more likely to hurt their male partner. I've had multiple male clients who have had their feet run over, had boyfriends try to beat them up. I never subscribed to the old "hell hath no wrath like a woman scorned," but I know hell hath no wrath like a nuttier than squirrel shit woman who is watching her easy life with a husband providing everything evaporate. And no one manipulates young children to achieve the means to their end like women do. Not even close.

I love Megyn's show but this was not one of the better ones. Maureen Callahan made some very strange points. Anybody who has observed the Kennedy's over the years and does not fall for the hype, knows what they are all about. Callahan makes the ridiculous statement that Jackie Kennedy is "the heroine" of the book. What exactly qualifies her for the title of heroine.? Twice Jackie sold herself to the highest bidder. She stayed with a man who kept cheating on her. Meanwhile she reportedly had affairs of her own. She was one of the Kennedy's who defended Teddy after Chappaquiddick , which the author condemned other Kennedy family members for. She had numerous affairs and possibly slept with Bobby Kennedy and Teddy after her husband's death. The author admits that Jackie made up the whole "Camelot" myth, and mislead the entire nation. Jackie was know to tease men into buying things for her. She negotiated terms with Onassis and would show up when he wanted to have sex, according to Callahan. Once again, what qualified her to be labeled the "heroine"?

Sources? Documentation? Please tell me that there is an extensive bibliography and glossary to this book! I am no fan of the Kennedys, but some of this sounds rather fictional, and fantastical. A lot of it is old news, but how does one document what Jackie does with her husband's dead body when no one else is there? This has the smell of spectacle , rather than fact!

I started to watch this video and stopped to read some of the comments. I know it hurts when a narcissist discards you, but believe me - they can do a lot more/worse damage to you in so many ways. Like ruining your reputation, your credit, etc. It is painful when they attack. Better to be away from them and live a better life without them.
