Hi Dave. Need your opinion. I currently own a 98 Triumph Thunderbird Sport (885cc) and an 85 Honda v65 Magna (1100cc) and am wondering if this bike would be difficult for backing into spots. I’m only 5’7” but about 190lbs. Is it too high off the ground? Riding it I know won’t be an issue. Also, I go on long distance rides with my Triumph and the wind beats me up so I’m looking for a heavier bike so I can really relax on my long distance rides (1,100 miles plus). Any opinion would be appreciated.

@@ZieglerMonster Back in 2005 Kawasaki Concours had about a 7 gallon tank. Then Kawasaki had to increase the CCs, decrease the MPG and increase the cost for the Concours 1400. As if we need to go 150 mph on the street with the new Concours.

Awesome review on the rocket thank you. I first owned one in 2008 ( 2004 model ) for four years but had to sell for reasons. Then bought myself a 2009 model in 2019 that had 25000 kilometers on it and one owner. Yep, k's. I'm from Australia. So for that reason I can vouch for everything that you have said as being spot on. Really great. Except, sorry Dave, I do touch the pipes on mine. Not much but the old girl will go a long way over. The hero nobs on the foot pegs are long gone and I'm starting to wear out the pegs now. I actually snapped the right peg off cornering. Love this motorcycle so much. I'm not as big as you mate (is anyone) but still to big to sit on most bikes without looking like an elephant on a tricycle. Lol One up or two it make no diffence, and my partner is as comfortable as can be. Great to see other like minded people having just as much fun. Cheers mate, and stay upright. I really like your videos, you really like that bike, I'm about to get a Rocket III Roadster too, I'd like you to ask you something since you had both the chrome and the blacked out variants, mechanically did you noticed any difference or upgrades in the latest model? Is the matte black finish of the radiator and bear claw in the one with the red stripes better or worse than chrome in the older model? I prefer the all black/ chrome finish over the black with red stripes. Do you think the weight is going to be an issue? I'm only 5'9, 180 pounds and not nearly as muscular and you are. Thanks in advance.
