Just like the workplace turns into politics when they lower the level of employees the university turns into politics when they lower the level of the students. Truth is only valuable in the startup phase, not in the middle/end phase. "We made it"

I disagree. Every person has some core values. And you use these values to develop an attitude to what happens around you. So, it is not about truth/false it is more about attitude people have in a society. In modern world you have more facts then ever before. So, attitude comes first. When you give up on having opinion on something because 'oh we do not know everything! everything is so complicated' - you are losing it to propagandists who want to change your attitude. Just stick to core values and some hard facts - it will be enough to see the picture in a healthy way.
