You are 100 % correct. In my circle 5 RO sets are in use. Earlier drinking water TDS value was below 50/40... I have added TDS controller in the system. Now, am driving drinking 150 TDS value water. Its taste is better than 50 TDS... I will increase the TDS 150 to higher level till I get good taste. Dear, RO users please, it's very simple, to add a TDS controller in your set... By this total filters life will also increase. You can do it yourself.

Why they are using multiple filtration is, pre-filters are reducing the sediments, and it increases the life of the RO membrane, pre-carbon filter reduces the smell if anything present in the water, like wise, they using multiple stages of filtration. but UV and UF is no need for RO i hope..

My house bore water is taste like good only but I tested recently and it's TDS is 742ppm How it is possible that this much hard water is taste like nearly normal water??? I also tried my friend's house bore water and it's taste is horrible but not iron deposite for sure. And it's TDS is 660ppm Plz answer me From many videos Calicum and Megnesum ratio is the reason for hardness explained. Maybe for equal proportion of it makes taste good or not???? Plz kindly explain it
