What she says is understandable. The foreign policy has to be stable and in one direction. If we are aligned to China we should clearly do it and communicate to the world and especially the neighbors. If we are in aligned with India we should not get indulge in Anti India actions, we should be clear and should communicate it clearly to the world. If we are not aligned to anyone we should learn it from India. How India is doing a balancing act between Russia and west keeping its own interests in mind. There are great lessons that we can learn from Indias foreign policy. How India doesn't sacrifice its old and time tested friendship to make new relations. But there are two big problem for us to have such a robust foreign policy. (1) We are not India. (2) We do not have an EAM like S. Jaishankar and an NSA like Ajit Doval. One more much bigger problem than the above mentioned. We don't have a Prime Minister like Narendra Modi😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

The biggest problem with every Nepali is that we are educated illiterates. Most of us don't understand what us Monarchy, what is Democracy and what is Democratic Monarchy. Monarchy is where the king has absolute power. The PM and other minister are appointed by him to administer the country. Democracy is where the Government is elected by the people, for the people and of the people. The PM is decided by the MP's of the party coming in power. The president is constitution head that is elected by the MP. Democratic Monarchy is where the King is the Constitutional head of the state with executive powers. The government to administrator the country is elected by the people. We were supposed to opt for the third option but we opted for the second option by eliminating the first option. Now we need another revolution to bring back the third option. So the King will be the Constitutional head with executive powers but we will have an elected government to run our country.

But why do you need King as a constitutional head? What progress did Nepal make during the monarchy? Look at statistics of GDP now and then. Look at the literacy rate now and then. Look at the people under the poverty line now and then. Current leaders are corrupt but that doesn't mean King was holier than thou. He consolidated wealth and power by looting poor citizens. The major reason we are in this rotten mess is because of the monarchy.

@piyushnepal6110 Dear, please read the first line of my comment, and you proved me right. We are actually educated illiterates, and you proved it. The stastical comparison that you mentioned on various parameters is absolutely wrong. You are comparing time with time, one era with another era, then and now, which is absurd. What you don't understand is that the world always keeps moving forward with the time. There is no place on this planet that is backward today compared to 50 years back or 100 years back unless and until the place has witnessed a natural disaster. It would be absolutely stupid to compare your height, weight, and strength today with when you were a 10 year old kid. If you had to do comparison, it has to be with our peers that is with those whom we consider our competitors or our inspirer. For example, if we consider India as our peer, we can compare India 100 years back with Nepal 100 years back. India of today and Nepal of today. That's the fair comparison. If you do this comparison honestly, you will get the answer to your question (Why do we need the King back ?). By the way, let me tell you that Democratic government has done nothing new in this country, every thing that we see today is the Kings had been Pioneer of it be it the Airports, National Highways, the Singha Darbar, the universitys or any institution you name it. The Democratic government had only moved it a bit forward.

Is today's government any different than it was 30 years ago? I see political power in the hands of those same people who still had them 30 years back. 😊

That's people fault. We vote for the same people every time
@nishankhadka980711 күн бұрын
@abhishek3620 yes, they vote the same local leaders, and in turn, they vote the same so-called "national leaders." Nepalese people ousted monarchy when King Gyanendra tried investigating some current national leaders for corruption charges . And then these oppressed but wise nepali people gave those people in question under corruption charges unchecked power. But I would not call it fault, I would rather call it the desire of the nepalese people, it's what they want.

Whatever it is why would u even want constitutional monarchy or monarchy ok the current scenario doesn’t seem good but monarchy shouldn’t be our choice she talking about the ordeal we facing at the present context but how was time back then don’t act like if we used to live in golden age when there was king manche Sanga chapal kinna paisa hunna thyo let’s bring the statistics as well from back then what was our gdp our literacy employment opportunity how fast forward was we scientifically lol these shahs ruled for more than 200 years and where was our country back then while we still haven’t lived in republic for not even 25 years and still now even now the situation is better compare to the monarchy
