Admittedly the street parking has gotten real bad there over the last few months. People want the services of the truck stop but they don't want to pay the gate fee. It's $25 or equal amount in receipts. If you smoke, that's 2 pack of cigarettes. A dinner from the fuel isle deli and some drinks is $18. Point being is its really easy to cover that fee. As for the street parking, it had gotten to the point that drivers were taking over the lane right up to the lights. That means 2 lanes have to use the inside lane and we start getting backed up. They do this on both sides of the road. If you are coming into LA try thinking about stopping at barstow. Or detour over to us395 where there is a whole slew of small truck stops in Victorville and Hesperia. Think about stopping at 1000 palms or Coachella.

I park in the Petro in Ontario California on a regular basis. The PETRO often. Fills up by 3PM in the afternoon. The nearest patking is over 200 miles away if you cannot park at the Petro or ZtA in Ontario, California.

The Ontario TA and Petro fill up by early afternoon. There is no place to park within 100 miles. If you are out of hours you are forced to violate your hours of service by 2 to 3 hours to find a place to park.

Nasty drivers continue to dump waste on the sidewalk probably doesn't help the situation. In my 17 years of driving, I've never had an issue finding parking. Even here in Socal. Bottom line drivers need to learn to trip plan better. If it says no parking, it means no parking. I'm glad they got towed. NO PARKING ON THE STREET

You should of gone by the Costco Distribution on Riverside Dr in Mira Loma, all the truckers waiting to load and unload. I've seen truckers fight because there's many inconsiderate truckers blocking other truckers by being double and triple parked on the street. Many new truckers are just jerks and don't care about anyone but themselves, what they don't realize is that trucking is a life bond and unity.

I haven't run out there since 2018 and spent several years parking there both the TA and Petro across the street.Even then by dark it was full ,and gets like 3 trucks deep around the spaces but I never seen no signs out on the street or seen many trucks parked even though there's much space on that street .could be the trash ,drivers ruined almost all the wallmart pkg from trash alone .

There is a lot of reasons. Most truck drivers are trashy and love to litter. I see them littering, throwing trash whole bags of trash on the side of the road, bottles, beer bottles, paper, cups, fast food bags, etc. etc. Their mutts crapping on private property… I’ve seen mattresses thrown on the side of the road. Cleaning trailers out and throwing whole pallets onto the side of the road. I feel sorry for the drivers who are victimized from all this. God bless them.

I parked in a business parking lot because I new I would be gone before morning. Street had no parking signs and where I was picking up wouldn’t let me park on site . A cop came bye and told me I can’t park in the lot , to park on the street. Apparently the no parking signs was put up so no cars would park on the street so trucks could park there while waiting .

Coming in from I-5 NORTH OF LA stay on top of grapevine at the Fly J or the Petro and TA on wheeler ridge. From the 15 stay up in Barstow and Baker or the Casinos in Stateline whiskey petes. From San Diego on the 15 exit 88 Temescal canyon road has a dirt area next to sinclair. From I-10 Spotlight 29 casino. From the I-40 exit 18 national trails hwy there's a truck stop.

There are signs everywhere and if you know the area and notice that there are a lot less truck parked on the street then normal, ya might wanna get yourself another parking option. There's not a lot of places to park in Ontario California, the petro, ta and pilot are all paid parking and cannot fit the crazy amount of trucks that go there. Instead of creating areas for trucks to park they rather tow trucks. And they wonder on TV why the port is behind unloading those ships that come from overseas. I personally try to avoid going to Cali.
