It’s very refreshing to see another immigrant with the same perspective as me.I lived half my life in a country where only the government and bad guys bear arms. Because the process of getting a legal one is just too difficult for the average Joe. Not to mention that a handgun costs 6-10 times the average salary. I am Japanese-American and my mother, aunt and grandparents (all birth-right American citizens) were interned for four and a half years during WWII at Minidoka Camp, about 50 miles east of Boise Idaho. There are many Asian-American second amendment advocates and Lily Tang Williams' remarks hit hard for me. The second amendment protects the first and it is better to have the problems associated with too much freedom than too little.
