Olivia did a complete 180. In the beginning when asked she said she would save millions of people in Mexico and have her friends die. But in the end of the movie she risked millions to save her best friend

7:10 Sam literally foreshadows the ending. Cause he said "you need to tell the truth". And probably Olivia really wants to save her friends rather than the millions deep inside. Which shows why she did that in the end

most may not know this but Blumhouse canceled Truth or Dare 2 due to COVID-19 regulations and cost implications. Despite a 15% Rotten Tomatoes rating, Truth or Dare was successful, but Blumhouse has since focused on other projects. wish we got a 2 😢

This film was better than I thought it would be. Loved it just for the ending, which was foreshadowed at the start of the movie. When she tells Markie. I choose you over the world. She also gives people a fighting chance. Knowing so many people will watch the video. That they will likely only have to play to once. Just tell the truth or do a dare. It seems cheap, but its using modern tech to deal with an ancient problem. Also means a sequel would have been a possibility

I would have never thought of posting it on the internet. And even if I had I do not have any type of follower base so I would just be dragging my close friends and family into a death game. Therefore I 100% would have ended it myself on my terms instead of worrying about the demon unaliving me in some gruesome way. I think it’s smart what Olivia did in terms of selfishly saving her and Markie. But…… the game won’t end until all the players are unalive… and if the entire world is playing Olivia just ended the world…. I wouldn’t want to be responsible for that. 🤷‍♀️

I know the ending feels weird to y’all but in my opinion, the ending makes sense because Carter died so the only way it could’ve ended was for both of them to die. Olivia was always selfless and this whole movie was a journey to teach her to be selfish and stop thinking of others. Personally, I probably would’ve done the same thing they did 😭

Yeah, I don't think that makes it a good movie, man...I hate to be that guy who usually does this in a comments section where mostly everyone is positive about the movie, but this wasn't really getting such a good reception anyway. This movie is literally why people were scared Smile wouldn't be good. This doesn't really make it a good arc because nothing about it found a way to work that in cleverly.

Olivia final choice is in COMPLETE contradiction with what she said first in the game. The "Like I loved you guys but the right choice would be to save million people over you". The look that Carter/Sam gave her at this moment say it all 😂 It kind of coming full circle though. I get the "survival" part of that choice, but I'm also like "so she basically push the all planete in hell 👀 ..." I'm even wondering if the spirit would have let them "sacrifice" themself, like accepting death. Because, it said it itself, if they die, the game stop so its existence too right🤔? I'm also a bit confused about how this all thing start. I mean, the young sisters were abused, one of them find a way to kill the one abusing them, ok. But why would the "spell" she made start attacking the other girls 🤔? Anyway, it was fun watching this movie with you guys. Have a nice day 😄!

To be honest, it’s basically it’s not the first time 🤷‍♂️ I know truth or dare came out on 2018 but it’s basically not the first time because there is a Easter egg Almost break the fourth wall almost 2 months Play or Die (2019), they did something similar so there you have it so actually it’s not the first time because you get the same concept understand if it’s something different but this one was 2018. 🥰 I enjoyed this one but 2019 was insane. 💀 It almost almost breaking the fourth wall

If I were in their place, I would say "truth" and then tell the second to also choose truth and then I would ask the demon next, and he would had to choose dare and I would ask him to stop the game. Something i dont understand is, why lucas told olivia what he want the way he did and left out that he love his girlfriend. That's confusing 🤔
