*Spoiler* review: Not sure why people didn't like the ending. It was the best part of the movie for me. This movie definitely isn't for anyone expecting a happy ending. It was a smart ending. To get potentially the whole world to play the game, so imagine how long it would be until somebody got their turn again. I thought that the two girls were going to end up killing themselves after the demon said the game only ends when all players are dead but they kind of out smarted it. It'll take forever until they get their turn again. Sure more lives will be lost but they pretty much had no other way (kinda) out. Although I don't understand why she didn't just dare the demon to piss off.

Like firing off the gun threateningly, Or better yet, volunteering to die by Lucas’ hand, and the other two finish the game. thegossipswan009 yeah, the rest of the movie was good. Those parts did what I expected of a Blumhouse movie. It’s just that bloody ending totally ruins what we know of the characters. If they had played up the “me and you against the world” plot. I could have really believed and enjoyed it. But, not the Good Girl, who always pushes her friend to the light, suddenly goes full dark side with her, plot. Lucas and Markie going dark side would have been infinitely more believable, with a “nothing can keep us apart” love story.

It's "Truth or Dare" but with a twist. When the first group of friends played (in a cursed old building and unleashed a demon) they got bored when everyone kept picking 'truth', so they made a new rule - if the last 2 players before you picked truth, you have to choose dare. Just as long as you're not the third person to pick truth in a row you're free to go with that option.
