Overflowing with Thankfulness - Part One

I appreciated your comments on not being in denial of the pain. Too often in my youth I picked up on a stoicism that caused me to stuff my feelings and drive on, believing that a good Christian must not be depressed but always be putting others ahead of ourselves, which finally landed me in a psych hospital! God has taught me a Biblically balanced viewpoint of realistic self-care with obedient faith while I'm in this sinful world in an imperfect body. I have faith in the plan of our loving Lord and serve others as His Spirit leads - which sometimes may be just to rest and have a good cry when things get tough!
