Wonderful, thanks for this! It is a great comfort to know that God does not only work when times are good (that is the way we naturally think), but that He works even the dark times for our good and His glory

Yes, God is always working for our good and His glory. That is so comforting. He sees a future we do not but He only ever desires our best.

I buried my son four years ago in December. He was 25 years old. He had many struggles in this life. The lights have been off since then, but I love the Lord with all of my heart, and I trust him completely.

Yes, his teaching through the years has blessed me so much especially when going through very grieving times. He and Spurgeon were the voices of wisdom that I listened to through some very dark nights and times. So thankful for them both.

I think the beatitudes give benefits for those in pain and seek justice and what’s to come for them. When we realize and see the love of God and his provision in the scripture is what helps us with peace .

About the time you start depending on his presence/light, he dims it to his choosing. And I'd say we all react the same way: "God come back! I need you!" Boy I hate that feeling of wanting to drink from the living water, and you cant find it. "Like the deer that panteth for water". But it's for our good though, plants need darkness to grow as much as they need light.

I believe some of these pastors are behaving like vultures. I first heard you on the radio in the late '80s. It is unbelievable that they attack one of their own. What does it say to the unsaved, by their behavior?
